Alton Towers Resort has decided to open select rides one hour after the rest of the park opens including the popular roller coasters Air and Th13teen
With the tent almost entirely removed, various backstage areas are now exposed for the first time since 1984, as is the luscious greenery of the woods which have been hidden beyond the tent.
Some pictures from an unusual angle as we look at the site from the access road around X-sector. The tent has completely gone now and site clearance is underway. The old Blackhole Kiosk as seen in these pictures is due to be demolished as this becomes the main access point to the SW7 site.
