It’s time to welcome in the 2017 season!
It’s been 5 months since we waved goodbye to the 2016 main season, and 2017 brings us the return of Hex and the continuing construction of SW8! Join us on park for a weekend of rides and catching up on what everyone has been up to over those dark, dark days of closed season.
When and where?
As per most years, this is a 2-day official meet, on Saturday 25th March & Sunday 26th March. We’ll be at the Alton Towers Resort for both days. There’s also an optional catch up on Friday 24th March at Rugeley for drinks and food.
Friday 24th March 2017
8:00pm – Pre-meet social at The Plaza, Horsefair, Rugeley for food and drink
Saturday 25th March 2017
10:00am – Meet outside the Box Office on Towers Street at Alton Towers
5:00pm – Park closes; those staying over return to Rugeley
Drinks and food at Rugeley Wetherspoons for the evening
Sunday, 26th March 2017
10:30am – Meet outside the Box Office on Towers Street at Alton Towers
5:00pm – Park close
Accommodation
We would suggest booking the Travelodge in Rugeley for the Friday and Saturday night. However, you are of course free to stay where you wish. Please book your accommodation on the Travelodge website. You must have your own transport arranged as there is no public transport available for getting to or from the park.
