Our most spooktacular meet is back…
Scarefest meet is one of the highlights of the season for TowersStreet! We will be on-park for both Saturday and Sunday – although please note that the main day for this meet is Saturday! Also, since the park is open so late for this event, our meeting times will be slightly later than other meets in the morning on both Saturday and Sunday.
When and where?
This is a 2-day official meet, on Saturday 14th October and Sunday 15th October. We’ll be at the Alton Towers Resort for both days.
Saturday 14th October 2016
10:30am – Meet at the Box Office on Towers Street
4:00pm – Time slot for mazes within the Towers
6:00pm – Time slot for The Welcoming
Sunday 15th October 2016
11:30am – Meet at the Box Office on Towers Street
9:00pm – Park closes
Mazes
Your maze tickets must be booked online in advance. They cost £20 for the 3 mazes inside the Towers or £16 if you are an annual pass holder. The Welcoming costs an extra £8, however there is no annual pass discount for this maze. Please book the 16:00 time slot on 14th October for the 3-maze ticket and the 18:00 time slot for The Welcoming. If you are unable to book these times, for example, if they have sold out, then please book as close to this time as you can (e.g. 15:45/17:45 or 16:15/18:15 respectively). Please note that we are not pre-booking maze time slots for the Sunday. Some people may or may not decide to the mazes on Sunday, however at this moment we are unsure.
Accommodation
Accommodation available for those wishing to do 2 days is at Rugeley Travelodge – please book a room for the Friday and/or Saturday night as you wish. Alternative accommodation is available at Rugeley Premier Inn or Fairway Motel Rugeley. Rugeley is a 35 minute drive to the resort, however you are free to stay where you wish, or indeed, if you’re local – to stay at home! There will be drinks at The Plaza (Wetherspoons) in Rugeley on the Friday evening before the meet, pending numbers. The pub is a 200 metre walk from the hotel.
