ScareTOUR, a popular site for enthusiasts of scare attractions, have posted their 2012 review and crowned The Sanctuary – Alton Towers newest seasonal scare maze – as the “Best Scare Attraction” of 2012.
The maze, which is known to be linked to Alton Towers’ new roller coaster for 2013, took guests on a tour of a medical facility researching social compliance treatments. ScareTOUR praised the use of a back-to-basics approach to scares along with its innovative story-based concept, as well as its use of the historic Towers to enhance the experience.
