Fastrack and VIP Experiences

If you’re looking to splash the cash to supersize your day at Alton Towers, the park have lots of add-ons available to customise your day. From souvenirs, like imagic Unlimited Digital Photos, right through to full add-on packages for your day:

Fastrack

If you’re looking to maximise your ride count and minimise the amount of time you spend in queues, adding Fastrack to your ticket will allow you to use special queue lines on certain rides to skip the majority of the queue.

There are several different types of Fastrack ticket which all grant access to different rides and attractions:

  • Fastrack Bronze allows one-time priority entry to four of the park’s family rides.
  • Fastrack Silver allows thrill-seekers one-time priority entry to six of the park’s rollercoasters.
  • Fastrack Gold allows one-time priority entry to most of the park’s most popular family and thrill attractions.
  • Fastrack Platinum allows you unlimited priority entry to most of the park’s most popular family and thrill attractions.

For full details of the specific rides included and prices of the Fastrack packages, check out the Alton Towers Official Website.

Fastrack is only available on rides aimed at older guests, no Fastrack option is available for CBeebies Land or other kids attractions.

Solo Fastrack

On busier days, the park will also offer individual Fastracks for certain attractions. These are available on the day via the app or the Guest Services Hubs.

Solo Fastrack tickets are usually available for Nemesis Reborn, Wicker Man, The Smiler, Oblivion, Galactica, TH13TEEN, Rita, Spinball Whizzer, Runaway Mine Train and The Curse at Alton Manor.

How does Fastrack work?

The Smiler - EntranceFastrack Packages are available to both pre-book online and in the Guest Service Hubs located around the park. Fastracks are allocated on a first come, first served basis and numbers are limited. Occasionally, Fastrack tickets may be issued with a specific time slot, which means that when you purchase your ticket, you will be asked to select the time you wish to ride.

Some hotel bookings may come with Fastrack tickets included, so confirm at check in if your room includes a Fastrack package.

Top Tip! Alton Towers is not always as busy as you may think it is going to be. Don’t go straight to the box office to buy your Fastrack, instead take a look at the app or queue time boards. If the queues are less than 30 minutes, you might want to save your money. On busier days, though, remember that Fastrack is limited, so don’t delay your decision on purchasing too long – once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Track Walks

New for 2025, the park has announced a new Nemesis Reborn: Behind the Scenes VIP Experience.

If you want to see the park from a different angle, these might be an excellent add-on to your park ticket, offering a unique experience on some of the park’s most popular coasters.

For Oblivion and Wickerman this includes a walk to the top of the ride’s lift-hill and a souvenir pin badge. For Nemesis Reborn, guests will also get access to the ride’s Tech Bunker, Transfer Track and Operator Cabin.

Track walks are available on Tuesdays and Thursday on off-peak dates in April, May, June and September, as well as selected Sundays.

The track walks will occur one hour after ride close, and the package also includes a Solo Fastrack for the ride and Express Parking.

House and Gardens Tour

The Gardens

Alton Towers now offer a paid tour of the House and Gardens, which runs on at 2:30pm selected Wednesdays and Saturdays from late May to early September.

Covering 2.5km of ground, each tour will last at least two hours and gives insight into the history of the listed Gardens and House.

The tour tends to focus more heavily on the Gardens than the House, and takes in most of the major Garden features, including the chance to go inside the 200-year-old Conservatories.

The paid experience is now the only way to access the historic house at the centre of the park, but only offers extremely limited Access, allowing guests to preview the Conservatory, T-Room, Banqueting Hall and rooftop galleries only.
