UPDATE on Alton Towers Live (28/3/14): The Alton Towers Resort has given confirmation that there will not actually be a return of Alton Towers Live in 2014. The Resort has no plans for a concert in the 2014 season and confirmed this to TowersStreet via Twitter.
As the final act was about to go on stage at today’s Alton Towers Live event, it was announced that the concert will return once again during the 2014 season.
With almost capacity crowds visiting Alton Towers Resort during this years event, it comes as no surprise that the event will return once again.
The 2013 event was headlined by Olly Murs and also included popular artists such as Little Mix, Connor Maynard and Rizzle Kicks.
2013 saw the return of concerts to Alton Towers Resort after a break following a previous Alton Towers Live, the Black Eyed Peas and also P!nk.
