February Half Term 2014 – Line Up Revealed

Updated 6th July 2019

The 2013 season may have only ended yesterday but Alton Towers have already revealed what rides will make up the Resort’s popular February Half term event next season.

The Alton Towers Resort will re-open for February Half Term between the 15th and 23rd of February 2014. The event will follow on from the success of last year by again using the popular children’s Moshi Monsters IP to attract families to attend. Whilst children will be able to meet the stars of Moshi Monsters: The Movie and complete The Great Moshling Egg Quiz Trail it doesn’t mean that thrill-seekers will be ignored as a handful of the parks rollercoasters will also be operating.

The ride line-up is much the same as last year but does feature some changes. With the CBeebies Land development underway, Squirrel Nutty, Doodle Doo Derby, Old MacDonald’s Tractor Ride and Berry Bish Bash will not be available although Nemesis Sub-Terra, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Gallopers Carousel have been added to the list. The addition of Charlie and Sub-Terra will be welcomed by families and thrill-seekers alike as it will extend the number of indoor attractions available for what is usually a very cold event.

The full ride list is as follows:

  • Sharkbait Reef by SEALIFE
  • Duel: The Haunted House Strikes Back
  • Ice Age: The 4D Experience
  • Wobble World
  • Hex
  • Nemesis: Sub-Terra
  • Air
  • Nemesis
  • Blade
  • Sonic Spinball
  • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
  • Marauder’s Mayhem
  • Frog Hopper
  • Runaway Mine Train
  • Heave Ho!
  • Gallopers Carousel

Tickets for the event will be priced at £15 for adults and £12 for children.
