Iggle Piggle, Mr Tumble & more coming to CBeebies Land

Alton Towers Resort have announced a number of the attractions which are set to featured within CBeebies Land, which will be opening on the 24th of May 2014. The area, which is the first of its kind, will include a number of popular TV shows and characters from the CBeebies universe.

Alton Towers have been announcing these attractions through their CBeebies Land Facebook page, and there are set to be more announcements in the future. Keep checking back with this article as we update it with all the latest developments as they are revealed:

Mr. Bloom’s Allotments

“For hands on fun, venture down the garden path to Mr. Bloom’s Allotments. Help friends of Mr. Bloom tend to the plants and feed compo, before heading inside the magical shed to meet the Veggies.” The official CBeebies Land website advises that this ride/experience will last for approximately 10 minutes.

In The Night Garden Magical Boat Ride

“The In The Night Garden Magical Boat Ride drifts you and your child into the enchanted dreamworld. From on board the colourful boat enjoy special family moments as you discover Iggle Piggle, Makka Pakka and Upsy Daisy on a woodland Night Garden. Watch and listen to the sights and sounds of a picture book that has come alive.” The In The Night Garden Magical Boat Ride was previously Riverbank Eye-Spy.

Something Special Sensory Garden

“The Something Special Sensory Garden is waiting to be explored but first you have to help Mr. Tumble send his spotty bag. Families will follow the Tumble trail and look inside Mr. Tumble’s spotty bag to find what three special things to look for. Just like on the TV show, learn how to sign the words in this sensory discovery trail, an attraction that can be enjoyed by everyone.”

>Nina’s Science Lab

“Nina’s science lab brings together Nina’s well-loved Neurons and shows how they control your 5 senses. Children will be able to learn about their amazing bodies and what they do in this hands-on scientific attraction.” Nina’s Science Lab will be open from 11am until park close.

Justin’s House: Pie-O-Matic Factory

“Justin’s House: Pie-O-Matic Factory is a madcap attraction allowing indoor active play where life really is a bowl of cherries. Test out Robert’s inventions as you help Justin, Robert and Little Monster make the best custard pies ever. But watch out Mums and Dads there’s only one rule; there are no rules!” This attraction will be replacing Berry Bish Bash.

Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure

“Wake Up! The “Get, Set Go!” ride is a great place for families to begin their day at CBeebies Land. Offering a view of the whole area and encouraging creative and imaginative play, wake up the sleeping bugs in the CBeebies House with plenty of fun to be had on this ride.” This attraction will be a retheme of Squirrel Nutty.

Postman Pat’s Parcel Post

Postman Pat’s Parcel Post is believed to be replacing Old MacDonald’s Tractors.

Charlie & Lola’s Moonsquirters and Greendrops

The imaginative world of Charlie & Lola’s Moonsquirters and Greendrops.

The Numtums Number-Go-Round

The rethemed Doodle Doo Derby where children will be able to drive a Numtum Cart.

Tree Fu Tom Training Camp

Where children will practice Tree Fu magic moves.

Big Fun ShowTime

The Big Fun ShowTime pavilion will host live experiences and entertainment including shows from Mike the Knight, The ZingZillas and Nina & The Neurons.

CBeebies Land has also featured in the new Alton Towers short breaks advert which will be hitting your TV screens over the coming weeks, starting what is expected to be a big advertising push for families after 2013’s heavy thrill seeker focus due to The Smiler.

Alton Towers also revealed an official website for CBeebies Land which contains information on attractions, facilities and other exciting things in the new area. It provides parents with a handy Q&A as well as allowing families to book tickets and short breaks to the park. The website will be updates as more attractions are announced and we will let you know more as and when this happens!
