The Fun Centre was a small selection of fun house apparatus. Focusing on giving young guests a bit of rough and tumble, the centre featured a Joy Wheel-style spinning disc as well as two different rolling barrel obstacles. The headliner of the Fun Centre was most certainly The Barrel, a large slowly-rotating hamster wheel attraction, which challenged guests to stay on their feet.
It was located under the Astroglide, which offered some protection from the elements, though the attraction was ostensibly open-air. The Fun Centre first opened in 1981, in the area that became known as Adventureland 4-11 the following year. It closed in 1992, along with the rest of the area.
