Ticketing website ‘gettothefront’ have announced that a concert is to return to the resort this year after a one season absence. Since the initial announcement by ‘gettothefront’ it has since been confirmed by Alton Towers Resort. The concert, which is set to take place on Saturday 6th of July features:

- Rizzle Kicks
- Labyrinth
- Little Mix
- James Arthur
- Connor Maynard
- Stoosh
- Union J
Tickets go on-sale Friday (1st March) priced from £55 plus fees which includes park entry.
This is the first concert at Alton Towers since 2011 when both Black Eyed Peas played a date at the park, and McFly featured during a similar Alton Towers Live event. The 2011 gigs followed on from the incredibly successful P!nk concert in 2010, but seemingly failed to sell as well as the 2010 event. With music events missing from the 2012 season calendar, 2013 marks a welcome return.
