Argh, tempting. What's a rough total cost for this?

I only anticipated one trip abroad this year, and now you lot are potentially about to drag me on a third. My poor bank account :(

Accommodation Friday and Saturday night plus flights and park tickets £130.

I want to but getting to Stansted from where I live ftl! Manchester has cheap flights with Ryanair, but nothing on the Saturday... :/

Advance tickets at like 7pm on Friday from Birmingham are like £11 to Stansted. You should look.

I am travelling by train now as parking at the airport was looking expensive.

I will arrive at Stansted Airport at 22:14 on Friday and leave from there at 13:30 on Sunday.

Return from here £21!

Score!

:)

Still tempted :p Depends really on getting to airport and then sorting out hotels.

Got any details on flights/hotels people are using, etc?

I will be booking a room at Petit Palace Madrid Aeropuerto for myself & Dave at some point soon (next day or so), so before I do, if anyone who would like to go and like to join us then let me know. Will also be booking the Travelodge at Bishops Stortford and will have a space free there too. (There's a nice pub about a 10 minute walk away, called the Nags Head :) )

EDIT I have booked the Travelodge Bishops Stortford, have a space, (or 2!!) if anyone wants it. Have also booked parking, Midstay for £29 via top cash back, which also comes with free fastrack through security for up to 5 people. Which given the queues last time may be worth it?

Vik, if you have space in the hotels, can I take one of these spaces? Thank you.

Yes, that will be fine. I haven't booked the Madrid one yet, but the TL at Stansted is booked. That one will be £12.70 each between 3 of us.

We still space for one more person in both hotels if anyone is still undecided as to whether they are coming or not? ( I Know TL's are strictly 3 people, but there is a double bed, sofa bed and pull out bed in the rooms). Also, booked the Travelodge as it was much cheaper than the Holiday Inn, and there's a nice pub near by :)

I would have done the TL but the train was so cheap and I got government rate at Holiday Inn.
