It appears that Towers have begun a new marketing scheme, deemed as 'TowersTastic Summer'. The post from the Facebook page from Alton Towers explains more about it:
This was expected but also unexpected for me, I thought the'd push more on Scarefest marketing now through the summer to get a boost then, and forget about summer marketing all-together, however it seems they aren't going to be forgetting summer for marketing as I anticipated. This campaign looks like it is the replacement for 'Big Six Challenge'.
