New Flat Rides At Alton?

Even the best disco is worse that an average fairground flat. It's something that would fit in at a small family park, nowhere near suitable for one of the UK's best theme parks. Simply look to chessington to see how they are incapable of moving queues, and it's not a particularly exciting ride experience overall.

Maybe something decent for Ripsaw's site instead....
So basically a modern flat with good theming, like ripsaw was, because at the moment there are no modern flats on the park. I don't see why Towers don't like flats, some modern ones can look really ascetically pleasing

See Talocan. Or if the rides themselves I find Huss Boosters on the touring circuit pleasing for some weird reason

'cos they don't have any flat land ;-)
If they could relocate Spinball Whizzer out of its strange location (tricky on the planning, I know), that area would be a good place for a mini-land of flats. Not things like Cbeebies land next door, something aimed at an older target.

@TheBolt urm just no. Alton should really spread flats (if they ever go that way again) around each area of the park. They do create a great dynamic to each area if people ride them or not.

Nice flat land for rides in dark forest, X sector and forbidden valley, sites that they used to have flats on!
They aren't that expensive to buy compared to coasters...get some in!

If we only have the chance of one new flat ride opening at Towers in the next few years (and even that's probably optimistic) it *has* to go in Dark Forest. FV still has Blade (for however long that remains) and Sub Terra (if it reopens that is), whilst X Sector has Enterprise (see Blade). Dark Forest is in dire need of a back up ride and has been for years, especially considering how unreliable those pesky Intamins can be.

I'd love to see something like Maelstrom, Drayton Manor. My favourite ride from that park at the park I go to more regularly, sounds good to me.

And in all seriousness, I would love some dodgems. There's nothing like some good dodgems.

Dogems have no place in a modern theme park. They aren't even worthy of a second rate fun fair.
They can be quite fun if there aren't silly rules such as "one-way around" and "no bumping". Though I suppose dodgems like this are never found in the UK...
