Hyperia and Hyperion, that won't get confusing

Yeah, I know I was grasping at straws and being amusing with The Gods of Egypt: The Ride, or The John Wick: The Ride, but I'm relieved not another IP is being shoe horned in at Thorpe.Hmmm.
Not exactly inspiring as a name but it could be worse…. It could be an IP.

As bland as a ride called Icon that fails to have both iconic theming or ride experience. It's smooth, it's clean, it's bland.Hyperia is an OK choice, I suppose. It seems a little bit bland. Echoing people above me, I am glad that it's not an IP.

Majority of guests won’t have any idea Hyperion exists to be fair unless you’re an enthusiast…or Polish

Hyperia | Thorpe Park
Hyperia is Thorpe Park's brand new rollercoaster for 2024 . It is UK’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster, reaching heights of 236ft and speeds of over 80mph!

Anything but herKnew there would be some form of IP or partnership buried in there somewhere. Find Your Fearless? Even the colour scheme is the same.

And there are already other contenders at Thorpe for confusion, namely Nemesis: Inferior.Majority of guests won’t have any idea Hyperion exists to be fair unless you’re an enthusiast…or Polish

I'm so gutted on Jack Silkstone's behalf that they didn't let him do the naming announcement, in a hard hat, on site. After 38 Exodus, sorry Hyperia, update videos with nothing to report, you would have thought they might have thrown him a bone!
