Does anyone know what the rebar is in the foreground? Perhaps the start of a tunnel section?
Or something less interesting?

Ah OK, thanks... I thought that but it doesn't look very big.If you’re talking about the metal poles, that’s the station i believe.

Less than a week and track is already going in place. Going to interesting to see how much they can get built by the end of year. Either way, it's all happening now!
You have to put the track on quickly, it provides the cross beam structural support. Otherwise the taller supports would be put under stresses they are not designed to take for long.

Now you say that yeah can see it. BooMT posted one that looked pale yellow from afar, but looked more yellow up close. The crane could be playing a part in that as it's bright yellow.

Just about the colour thing. I thought early on that some of the pics had filters or had had their colour enhanced or changed in some way to make things look more 'golden' to fit with the theme, maybe. Not seen it in person so couldn't comment on the accuracy of my suspicions.

The official Thorpe Park photos are most likely taken by Jack Silkstone, as he often does photography for them and it follows his usual visual style. They've most certainly been "warmed", just by adjusting the white balance.Just about the colour thing. I've taken one of the photos published yesterday and reset the white balance (telling the photograph what white is, so colours are more accurately represented). You can see that the track is gold, but definitely more yellow.
Incidentally the "warmth" for these photos was really cranked up.
*EDIT* - Added two more rebalanced photos for illustrative purposes.
