The Future of Skyride

Have they removed the accessible queue from the DF station?

Grim decision if so. But it has been 3/4 years since my last visit so honestly no idea.

It was still there in 2022, I'm assuming it's not gone anywhere since then

Didn't know there was an accessible queue at the DF station, I was under the impression that only FV accepted RAP.

It's about half way along the queue, not particularly signposted mind. But you pretty much walk past it to get to the entrance.

I'd show it on Google Maps but Streetview shows a shell of a building with BK and CatCF still standing!

I remember a couple of seasons ago, stood waiting for people who allegedly can’t wait, arguing about getting on the skyride. It was a farce and another example of things getting worse. There should be no necessity for RAP on the skyride.

For those who follow Bianca on Instagram, you'll see as part of her most recent post covering the upcoming season that Skyride will remain closed for the 2024 season whilst the resort makes 'additional, significant investment into its infrastructure'. Can't say I expected another full year closed, but suppose it's good that they're doing things properly to ensure some longevity.

We'd all better hide from @rob666!

Rubbish that doesn't feel like a proper visit to the park without going on the Skyride. I even bought a pin badge of the logo during lock down, might have to wear it when I visit the park this season.

You do have to assume that they have uncovered another substantial issue whilst getting it ready to re-open, otherwise they would not have spent money on cosmetic painting work so recently. It doesn’t make sense to spend on that when it’s going to age and weather of the course of the next 12 months!
