2025: General Discussion

It was closed on my last visit there a few weeks ago too.

It sort of sums up Towers that they gave Gloomy Wood a new lease of life with The Curse, the new food options and the live actors, all of which were very popular, and fast forward a couple of years and the ride remains but the area feels as lifeless as it did in the days of Duel.

To be a one ride area that ride would have to be stand out in any park to keep the area busy

Whilst Curse is in my opinion a great ride I can’t help but feel it needs some support

A flat or a coaster (broomstick coaster comeback - and yes I know it was fake!

But something ….. otherwise i think we’re already at the beginning of the end for Curse and Gloomy Wood

I'd love to see some kind of flat ride in Gloomy Wood, but where could it go? The area really is just a path between KC and FV. Where the loos / Compound are? It would be very hidden if so.
I could see something going next to curse (where the gates are, across the queue) however currently it is just the massive curse warehouse so a lot of theming (which will probably be quite difficult due to the size of the building) I could see an indoor ride (although may impact fire exits) such as a mack rides shooting theatre, etc although a lot would have to change (queue, outdoor theming, etc)
