They won't care. They just churn out random videos etc to fill the algorithmic void. They couldn't care less if the rumours were true or not. They'll have already had most of their views from those videos etc and will be thinking of the next dollop of mush to serve up. They will actually be reading this message right now and others across the forum searching for inspiration, but hardly ever contributing.

And did Oblivion used to have as much theming as nemesis or is the ride we see today the same aa it was back in 1998 just more worn out

They have a special sled that they clamp on to the rails and ride down from the exit side. They have to wait for it to stop swinging back and forth and valley at the bottom.

Maintenance staff for Oblivion are issued with parachutes. They get into the tunnel by jumping from the top of the lift hill and hoping for the best.

Oblivion used to have Mission Impossiblesque lasers cross crossing the pit, which you had to dodge as you plummeted into a real black hole. There used to be a wormhole which magically transported you back onto the final break fun.

Or so said the rumour I read in the comments section of a Digital Daniel video.

Easy route is the exit of the tunnel (behind the pond).

Also access with ladders at the drop end.

The access railings look like stairs that gradually become steeper until they become a ladder

If you've been around for a while you may know of the site Alton Towers Almanac, the guy who run it got to go down there for some pictures I'm pretty sure although, I think it was more of a one time thing for him to doccument the park on his site.

Perhaps what happened was due to animals (say, birds) nesting on the track or in the tunnel? I understand this sounds really stupid but I say this because I once happened to see a duck sat under the track at the point where it leaves the tunnel!

Wasn't that certain duck the dreaded Flume Duck aka the final boss of Towers. Come to think of it, why does @GooseOnTheLoose never mention that nightmare fuel demon?

I have it on good authority that Ride Car 2 began its descent and didn't appear to come out of the other side. For some things there is no rational explanation.

Am I right in saying a single rider is someone who's happy to be sit on their own regardless if your in a group or not, only on Saturday in the Oblivion queue the staff member at the merge point would't allow a group of three through as they were together, so the Wife and I pretended we didn't know each other and we're sent through, and as it turned out they let four of us in the single rider queue all on together .
