Potential Bargain Coach Trip

Im not even sure if this is just satire or some new method of torture.

6 nights sleeping bolt right on a bus full of farts, sweat and scrubbers plus a pot noodle and a donut.

If you offered me £149 to go on this debacle Id tell you to do one, probably also if you offered me £1490 and park entry I would still heartily laugh and decline.

Odds on this selling enough to go - £1490/1. Plus a free trip on this monstrosity.

While I inheurnitny dislike the fat sloth who runs TPR if you ever read their trip reports they stay at a hotel or motel NIGHTLY.

Often a park hotel too. They dont sleep on busses.

Indeed. The problem with this trip isn't that it's all being done on a coach, that makes sense. The problem is the completely ridiculous itinerary that means you have to sleep sitting on a coach and attempt to use service station showers during a short stop off if you can (the coach won't be stopping for long enough to let everyone to have a wash).

I'll be shocked if this actually goes ahead.

Yeah I'm not sure what's worse... travelling with TPR or this.

From what I've seen at least TPR`do non-theme park stuff as well. Better to go in a small group or on your own IMO.

The current interest in this trip with the £1 deposits put down:

Obviously this does not depict the final outcome as anyone can put the deposit down and bail on the trip. Two of the reserved seats will also likely be for the driver's wife and child.

I'm no event planner, but is it really a good strategy to allow people to put down a £1 deposit and then allow them to cancel whenever they feel like it? They might as well make it free to reserve a place!

When do people need to confirm their place? They could go from having a fully booked coach to having only 10 places taken in no time at all.

Can't remember the exact time frame of our trip, but having just had a look they've been taking the final payments for one of their Disney trips in December recently. Less than a month seems quite a small window of time, so I would imagine they'd have the common sense to ask for it further in advance with a trip of this sheer insanity scale.

Add to the list of problems that most coaches adopt a “no solids” rules when it comes to the use of the toilet.

There does seem to be two types of enthusiasts; those who rush from park to park for the creds and others who would rather slow down and smell the roses.

Not saying that one is better than the other, but this trip is clearly tailored to the former. It’s a shame, because some of these parks (indeed most) reward people taking the time to appreciate the details, rather than ploughing from cred to cred with little other concern.

It was clearly inevitable, but the company appear to have now gone into liquidation. Website and social media presence totally wiped out as well, with people having to chase them up for money regarding Disney trips this summer.

There’s a surprise....

I could understand if you had some sort of motor home conversion / double decker coach with beds. But this was never going to work.

Even with a full coach say, how would they actually make any money on this?

Don’t like to see any company go under but this really was a stupid idea
