Celebrity Deaths 2025

I'm not a wrestling fan, but my "BFF" since childhood still is. It never made any sense to me until I worked on a WWE production. The moment I realised there was a "stage manager" independent of the "floor manger", it clicked in to place: "Oh! It's just pantomime!"
And I've loved the soap opera nature of it ever since.... without getting "in to" it.
....
So the real question is: Was Hogan a face or heel? Because to me, he always came across s a heel pretending to face.

I was only ever into it for like 6 months as a kid, when it was in Cardiff the other year was probably the first time I'd watched any of it in a decade and a half. But the lexicon, especially his, has had such a massive influece on me, probably just through it leaking onto the wider internet. Like referring to things as shoots and works, people as marks and jabronis, things being out of character as face turns or heel turns, etc.

RIP Brother HH

Used to watch the WWF wrestling in the early 90s. Loved it. Also had the toy wrestling ring and the figures etc. Went to watch it once when they came over to the N.E.C. Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker were my faves. Grew out of it by mid-teens. Fond memories though. R.I.P and thanks for the fun.
