Thorpe Park: General Discussion

Getting it open at all appears to still be the priority.Does Hyperia ever open at 10am? Always seems to be the last ride to open excluding advertised late openings, you think it would be the priority each day.
I would imagine that the lengthy morning warm up and testing regimes, to ensure it doesn't Fearlessly Valley, don't help matters.

Perhaps they should maybe advertise it as opening at 12. I can imagine a lot of irritated guests if they’ve made the effort to get to the park for opening only to find Hyperia not ready.

Is deadbeat really short this year or did I mess up? Eitherway very disappointed. Trailers and Survival games have been good fun so far! Park not too bad, maybe Sunday is the fright nights play!

It was previously where Black Mirror Labyrinth was located, and has hosted past scare mazes, such as Walking Dead: Living Nightmare.Where Deadbeat is did that building used to be part of X and what other Scare Mazes has that location been used tor

The space was originally the queue line for X, the space was deemed unsuitable as a queue after only a couple of years so the queue was moved outside but the closed part of the queue was not demolished for many years. I first saw it as Hellgate in about 2007 and it was obvious the space was still pretty much the same as it had been when X opened.
Since Hellgate closed, the space has been totally cleared out several times for new attractions including for The Passing, Cabin in the Woods, Walking Dead, Black Mirror and now Dead Beat. There may have been others too.

Or here me out. Perhaps they should provide value to paying customers. Know the issues this has in the morning and start the checks a few hours earlier to increase it's chances of opening for 10?
Merlin and logic, I know, tough call.
The real issue with the big new ride opening with the park...seen it many times on the Beach on many Sunday mornings.
Two thousand people on the park.
1000 in the Big One queue.
999 in the Icon queue.
And Rob runs round every other coaster in an hour because all the other rides are walk on, all morning.
Late opening of the big new ride means the punters get spread around the park for the first few hours, which is better than everyone all in one queue, with other rides idle.

According to their app, they're are open as normal today.I’m pretty sure the park is closed today, unless there’s a private event?

...and not that I ever do ridetimes, but everything at the Towers is on 5 minutes.
Not often you see that either.
Almost everything at LEGOLAND too. Should make a note of this being the quietest theme park day of the year!
