There is of course a lot of controversy and boycotts around the song contest this year, but the UK have just announced our entry.

I'm not much of a YouTube viewer so not familiar with Look Mum No Computer's work, but a known YouTuber, doing something a little different does seem like he could do alright for us if the song is good and can be consistently performed well live in the arena. We've struggled a bit with people who are great recorded, but not so much live.

The initial feedback from the Reddit thread in r/eurovision confirming our entrant is cautiously optimistic, and they seem glad that the BBC is taking a bit more of a risk this year.

The entries are being confirmed thick and fast. Australia have announced that their artist will be...Delta Goodrem. I'm absolutely thrilled at this. I've been a fan of Delta ever since she was on Neighbours 20-odd years ago, and her vocals are absolutely stunning. I have no doubts whatsoever that she will be superb in Vienna.

Goodness that's a name from the past. Pretty sure I had an album of hers back in the day... My musical tastes have changed a bit now! She was a good singer though.
