Im pretty sure Europa's and PortAventura's are both over water too?
*Edit* I've just checked and yes both are over water so no Drayton wasn't the first.

It’s been in the maintenance shed and they did cycle it on opening day but it got stuck. Staff informed me that it was waiting for new wheels.I'm at the park today - the 2nd Gold Rush train has reappeared and is currently cycling empty.
I think they started off badly at the start of the season and by the end of the month only James and the red balloon will be the only ride not available.

Really good ride availability here today. Even rides open which said the website would be closed such as the Polperro Express and Jormungader

That toilet block has been on and off for years i believe only open during peak times, after the expansion opened with the toilets in that area they closed them for a few years and they were used as storageAn obsevation I made today. The toilet in the front section of Thomas Land is blocked off completely now.
And what makes that more interesting its directly next to Pirate Adventure so could that mean either the building is being removed or refurbished to keep guests away

Around May last season.Good to hear!
How long was it on 1 for? I feel like it’s been on 1 since last season based on the comments I’ve been hearing.

Or it could be a toilet themed boat adventure. They close some toilets, so Pirate Adventure may be returning.
Or not.
Well I said also could be removal. And the close proximety to the building could make that plausibleThey close some toilets, so Pirate Adventure may be returning.

Alright turdbucklers, here we go!Or it could be a toilet themed boat adventure.
Actually wait, no, that... doesn't sound... too good...

I never understood why they don’t even start to load the gates until the other train is on the break run. Seems needless and you end up with oblivion style stacking… with only two trains.. on a 4 min cycle ..Gold Rush is back on 2 trains at last.
Though the ops are still slow pretty terrible

Have they cut the amount of staff on Gold Rush?I never understood why they don’t even start to load the gates until the other train is on the break run. Seems needless and you end up with oblivion style stacking… with only two trains.. on a 4 min cycle ..
They usually have 1 loading the station, 2 loading and checking the train and 2 in the op cabin.
Yesterday there was no one on the gate so one of the station members had to do it and then check restraintsHave they cut the amount of staff on Gold Rush?

Yeah that'd really slow things down. Ideally it needs to have 3 staff on the platform for two train operation (onload, offload, batching). With just 2 it might quicker to have the staff member on the offload side check all 24 seats and have the person on the onload side primarily focussed on batching
