2017/18: SW8 Speculation
Yeah, that's right. There is/were/are remains of an Iron Age Fort on Bunbury Hill which is/was/near where Dark Forest and Th13teen now is. I'm sure @BarryZola would know more on this.- LiamC

Hydromax at Pleasure Island (just up the coast) is 130' and operates consistently. Granted not as tall, but still :relaxed:- LiamC

Traveller day?
You know that from experience do you? Having met every single one of them the world over? Or are you just basing your opinions on unrepresentative tabloid and TV coverage of a small minority of them?- LiamC

Traveller day?
Not at all, I'm perfectly happy cheers man. You haven't addressed the rest of what I put in my post though? Where do you draw the line when it's known that "geeks" in the past have gone into restricted areas/rides, stolen signs etc? All things that the park deem against policy and that (in...- LiamC

Traveller day?
Perhaps not that, no. But it has been known for "geeks" to go into restricted ride areas, steal signs etc. So where do you draw the line? Your point about "no dress sense" is quite frankly ridiculous regardless of whether it was made tongue in cheek or not. It's nice to see that this topic...- LiamC

Looks a lot quicker than previously anticipated. Fingers crossed we won't actually have a Cheetah Run style coaster on our hands after all - LiamC

Food and Beverage 2016
The new coffee lounge was really nice on Saturday and a welcome (and importantly WARM) shelter from the rain. Also, as has been said, a bonus that it's Starbucks coffee.- LiamC

I rode it twice on Saturday, so feel I should put some points in here. Probably going to be some spoilers, so be wary if you want to avoid them. There's three points that I think need looking at - Queue line/Ride Area The revamped are looks OK, in particular the area leading up to the queue...- LiamC

2016: The Smiler Reopening
Please do not "tell me to get off my high horse" when you don't even know me as a person. I am merely making a comment as to how I see the situation, as everyone else is doing within this discussion. This is exactly the point I am trying to make. It doesn't take a lot for the GP to see an...- LiamC

2016: The Smiler Reopening
No, I quite agree. But, in the context of what has happened it's easy to see why some people may think along these lines. Also, a lot of the terminology and wording is visible/audible from outside the ride area. With the amount of negative press Towers have received over the previous months...- LiamC

2016: The Smiler Reopening
What's not to get? The ride experience concerns itself with "correcting" riders. When the incident happened, two people lost limbs. People now might hear/see the terms "correction", "correctional procedure" and "procedure complete" and see this still being there as poor taste due to the victims...- LiamC

2016: The Smiler Reopening
I thought this would be obvious considering the victims lost limbs and the ride process is about "correcting" the riders as people.- LiamC
