I think that goes without saying! However Blue Fire? That ride is the very essence and definition of brilliant modern ride design and engineering from the track itself right down to the seat and car design. It doesn't even come close when comparing it to those three other I'm afraid :)

He shouldn't have to say "mainly" though, that's the thing. You go to a park expecting rides to open full stop. Granted you should allow for the odd occasion where rides do break down etc, but as a paying guest I would want that guy to be saying, "our rides are always open."

I've seen the above comments re. the Merlin sale and, with the lack of details released about it so far, is it safe to assume they're not doing one this year? Did it not start on Boxing Day last year?

I believe they try to operate Blue Fire when the temperature is +5C. This season the last day of the main season was the 3rd November.

I disagree. If they were to be so close to the park then why get rid of the monorail and build another one that would run at such a high speed? Also if this is the case why get rid of the car parks at present? Why not just reroute roads from the M6 and M1 to feed directly into them and bypass...
