[The Smiler] Spoiler Discussion
Tower of Terror is a little different. Unless you stare up at the building for some time to make it obvious what's going to happen (seeing the windows open) you can go to the park and have no clue what's going to happen. The same, to some extent, with Th13teen, or even Sub Terra. If you're a bit...- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Marketing discussion
I wouldn't be surprised if this was a pre-watershed advert. I was about ten years old when I was over 140cm...a lot of the darker sides to say, Oblivion went over my head but I was still able to ride the coaster and enjoy the coaster. There is still a family market with this ride. It won't...- khalichanan

The Smiler realised that it could do nothing for the shallow vacuous shells of idiots that were on it, so decided it could not marmalise them, so broke itself on purpose.- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Marketing discussion
Perhaps they're being clever and don't actually want all these people to ride it, but have said they will let them ride it as otherwise it's bad PR...only to pretend it's broken ;) Ride isn't ruined by bad reviews or accused of being boring...people still intrigued. Oh, probably not, but I...- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Spoiler Discussion
KingNemesis: That is who I meant... But not about my gender, I am a lady-girl. Oh it's obviously fan made, it's clips compiled together. It's silly to try and compile it and try and make it seem as if it's anything other than that when realistically a full soundtrack won't come from anyone...- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Spoiler Discussion
I quite like the fact that it sounds like Renny Krupinski...to be honest its been fifteen odd years since he recorded it the first time so it actually could be him again as voices do change a little...who knows. Still, it's a good bit of continuity even if it isn't. The General Public won't...- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Spoiler Discussion
Actually, I believe we are talking about whether or not the Smiler at the moment has had any real spoilers released, at least that's what I thought I was basically saying. I don't feel the need to go to 'Guest Services' to mention this, it's hardly a big issue and I find trying to sweep me...- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Spoiler Discussion
Not off topic when we're talking about the actual topic. There's not been any significant spoilers yet though. Everything we've seen is obvious. Right now it's like asking for people to talk in spoilers about the Great Gastby Movie! There is no need for a Spoilers topic seperate from the...- khalichanan

Geeeeeeeeeeetting this back on track. I work at A Generic Historical Attraction in the centre of the midlands...but only during the holidays. Most of the time I'm a History student at the University of Exeter...- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Spoiler Discussion
I think the point some people are making though is due to the fact that it's not like Thirteen where's there technically a spoiler...this is just a rollercoaster that you can see basically everything about from just the photos. There's not actually much of a 'big reveal' so even reports of 'ride...- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Marketing discussion
If I'm honest, I just assumed they had managed to hack into the phone and play the message directly or upload a pre-recorded video. Movies and TV shows do it all the time, take Revenge for example. It's probably possible in technical terms (I wouldn't know) and if its not its a common trope so...- khalichanan

Wouldn't it be incredible if there was audio at the top of Oblivion that said 'Don't look down, let go of the pain, focus on the joy'...so when you look up you see the Smiler (Or the Joy ;) )- khalichanan

The fact that the advocates dancing outside include some actors that resemble some rather recognisable (and rather tall) Towers employees dismisses the possibility of it being amateur.- khalichanan

[The Smiler] Construction Updates and Ride Speculation
I honestly think the comparisons to Ronald MacDonald are on purpose. A clown's purpose is to make you smile, although they regularly have a sinister side assigned to them, right? I wouldn't be surprised if Ronald MacDonald was an inspiration. Think of the Olympics. The staff were called 'Games...- khalichanan

The I Feel Down Topic.
At least I think I've found the source of my depression; the hormonal contraceptive pill I was on apparently (it's prescribed as it's dirt cheap) causes it in many women in the first few months of taking it. It kills me to think what pushed him away was something I was taking to make him happy.- khalichanan

Oblivion
I know everyone moans when I harp on about it, but Warwick Castle looks superb. Yes, a little commercialised in places but really only around the entrance. It's in much better condition than if it had been left to grow dusty with National Trust/English Heritage. I remarked last season that...- khalichanan

Gender Map
Sam, I see through your guise of merely trying to find out the genders of TST...you just wanted to cause a debate ;) I know you... Also-I think what gender a person is at the person's discretion. If a human who was physically female told me they were a boy, I'd accept that and move on. Of...- khalichanan

Gender Map
Whilst sex and gender are from Latin...(but their translations don't really help much in sorting them) androgynous is from Ancient Greek. *slithers back into shell, now offishul Latin monitoring has been monitored*- khalichanan
