Kentucky Kingdom: General Discussion
Looks great. I especially love the pointy hills at the end; they look weird on POV, but I'm sure they'll be incredible when actually riding.- Nick

The Smiler - General Discussion
I disagree. If the lap-bars are done properly then they should hold you in fine, and at least to the level of OTSR. Gerst's OTSR's are built in a way to hold you down at the lap, anyway, so there's no reason why there needs to be further restraints.- Nick

The Smiler - General Discussion
The Smiler is great, but is let down by the restraints- which are far too tight, reducing the out of control feeling that the ride would have with lap-bars. If this coaster had lap-bars, then not only would it be more comfortable, but would accentuate each of the inversions and the air-time on...- Nick

2016: Theme Park Developments
But AT is about six times larger than Magic Kingdom, in terms of area, so could probably do with it. I reckon having a connection between the hotels and FV, and so an alternate entrance, would make more sense, though.- Nick

2016: Theme Park Developments
Let's remind ourself of the LTDP for 2010-2014: And for 2015-2019: This would indicate that a indoor ride will be placed in Coaster Corner, with a major roller coaster in either the Air car park (which may spill over into where Ripsaw and The Blade are now) or a cross valley coaster (which...- Nick

weight restrictions on rides
If you want reassurance, lets look at the statistics. The odds of dying on a roller coaster are 1 in 300 million. Compare that to the odds of winning the lottery, which are 1 in 14 million, and there is next to no chance of coming out your seat- there's absolutely nothing to be afraid of.- Nick

Slaphead's JUNKET Report.
OzIris is incredible. Wonderful combination of your standard B&M inverted coaster intensity with unique floater inversions and even significant air-time. A lovely queue and station as well. Its not quite as good as Nemesis though- you can't beat old-school B&M for intensity, and I prefer the...- Nick

Was Jesus Gay?
My opinion is that religion is a good and very important thing, mainly due to the morals it brings and the happiness that it gives to many followers, but I don't personally follow it. I believe their is a God of some description, but as a Creator, rather than the Holy Spirit or the Trinity or...- Nick

Mitch Hawker coaster polls 2013-14
Glad to see Nemesis is rightly both best inverting and inverted coaster. Seeing quite a few other coasters which were once in the top ten and then dropping out, when Nemesis has maintained a top ten position pretty much throughout, shows its class. However, it is strange to see how Kawasemi...- Nick
