Scarefest 2015
Could not agree more here. The mazes that allow actors to touch do sort of lesson the horror feel, more like a cop out for actors that struggle. Extreme examples such as McKamey Manor make my blood boil, they seem to cross the line between horror and torture.- Jables

Scarefest 2015
Have to agree with how you said 95% of the scare attractions here are unoriginal, I don't think Towers have a bad idea on their hands here, as well as some smaller events such as Screamfest Burton.- Jables

Scarefest 2015
I really do hope AT's marketing really weren't swayed so easily by something like this, I think Scarefest will be a cracking event this year with what's been shown, It's pretty obvious the excuse of how they wanted to "concentrate on Towers Tastic Summer" is not really why they didn't do...- Jables

Scarefest 2015
"It's the big announcement we've all been waiting for and as we mentioned weeks ago Alton Towers will get two brand new mazes and two brand new scare zones for 2015: Scare Mazes: The Haunting of Molly Crowe – this new scare maze takes you to the home of Molly Crowe. One chilling night in late...- Jables

"Danger of Death"
These signs are pretty ugly, the word "Death" written all over them is slightly off putting too. But if that's what Merlin have to do to keep Health & Safety happy then so be it.- Jables

Scarefest 2015
As much as I love the story lines for these attractions, it is wasted on some guests, but I wouldn't say it was wasted on so many that they shouldn't be about. It's great to know the story behind the attraction, adds a whole new level of immersion.- Jables

Scarefest 2015
I think we all really want Scarefest to be something special, and I really do think Towers will want to push for it with all the bad press they've been getting. I think this is going to be the best Scarefest we've had for a couple of years.- Jables

The TowersStreet Scare Event
Thought this would be a fun interesting topic as Halloween grows ever closer. Let's imagine we have to set up a Halloween event, something similar to Tulley's Shocktober Fest. We need to decide a few things, such as: Venue Mazes Security Other logistics I'll start, here's an idea for a maze...- Jables

London Dungeons
Just done the London Dungeons for the first time this past weekend, I think the whole attraction was great, however rooms like The Doctors and Barber Shop were much stronger than most of the others. I also found Descent at the start of the Dungeon slightly disappointing, it didn't feel like you...- Jables

The 'Why are the Towers ruins not open' thread
It is a shame that they don't have the whole Towers open, after doing the rides so often it gets quite fun to explore the ruins.- Jables

Scarefest 2015
Sorry if this has been mentioned already. What does everyone think will happen to The Sanctuary now if it wasn't already going to get replaced? Re-theme, replacement? Maybe no replacement.- Jables

Nemesis: 21st Anniversary
I've heard rumours of backwards trains, unlikely. I think this would take more from the ride than give it anything. I have to agree myself I'm just expecting to see some new merch and signage, maybe some special offers who knows.- Jables
