General Hotel Discussion
Just a quick update but the seats in the Altrium and Dragon Bar have been changed. They are now leather (maybe pleather - not sure) with what appears to be more tables and chairs in the Dragon Bar. It looks quite nice tbh.- Enk27

Food & Beverage 2015
It was hard to judge the on-park offerings on Saturday as most outlets seemed closed today (including Corner Coffee which seemed odd given its location). However we went to the Emperrors Grill in the evening and it appears that they have a new menu. There are more options available...- Enk27

Merlin Annual Pass 'Sale'
I'm sure the renewal price has a £10 more expensive price crossed out (I.e single premium renewal usually £159). Giving the impression that the renewals are on sale (even if that word is not used). Price increases are sadly part of life. What sticks in the throat is like last years drinks...- Enk27

Thorpe Park: General Discussion
Saw this on the news today - could this be the natural progression of Thorpe Shark? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2611063/A-giant-game-Jenga-No-hotel-design-shipping-containers-rearranged-WITHOUT-falling-over.html- Enk27

Food & Beverage 2014
We didn't get drinks included in July 2013 so I think it changed early 2013. I guess it is partly to encourage alcohol sales rather than unlimited refills, but they could have cut the price of the buffet as a result! ] That makes sense, the last time we dined there (and bought soft drinks) was...- Enk27

Food & Beverage 2014
Unsure if this has been mentioned but Flambo's in the evening no longer includes free drinks for adults. A refillable drink is now £3.95 (effectively wiping out the MAP discount and making it dear for non MAP). Unsure when this was brought in but pretty sure soft drinks were free in the...- Enk27

2014: General Discussion
The monorail was quiet but pretty sure in the morning it was telling me about about places to eat, encouraging going on the Smiler and Cbeebies land. In the evening it was mentioning scarefest and fireworks (and maybe the annual pass). So pretty much the same as last year. I like the new...- Enk27

2014: General Discussion
Did anyone else who rode the Skyride today hear the new audio and think of DiogoJ42's post? Amazing coincidence that they have moved from the modified Monorail upsell everything soundtrack to a "look at the views from the skyride" soundtrack at the same point that they may need to sell the idea...- Enk27

CBeebies Land
Re: 2014: CBeebies Land The Sun's list of higlights of the Cbeebies Land is interesting. At number 8 of 14 is CBeebies Photo Studio which states "Have your photo taken with your CBeebies favourite. The photos will be printed on site for purchase on the same day". It may just be a case of...- Enk27

We managed to get it to work at Alton Towers Hotel. Seems a bit steeper this year (approx £120ish) as opposed to the £99 or below of previous years.- Enk27

Legoland Discovery Centre - the trafford centre
Just a small update, was at the Trafford centre yesterday and the Discovery centre was incredibly busy. It appears that the Lego Movie is doing wonders for promoting Lego activities because the Trafford centre (and Sea Life) didn't appear to be that busy by comparison.- Enk27

SEA LIFE Manchester
Visited Sealife manchester today for the first time since it opened. It was a lot better today. They seem to have toned down the "explosion in a crayola" factory theme. The staff went out of their way to be helpful without encroaching. The ray tank has more fish in it and seems complete...- Enk27

2014: General Discussion
Yep from when they changed the ERT to remove th13teen. It was quite useful as it allowed you to do Nemesis (more than once), Blade, Duel, RMT and then still get to the Smiler queue before 10am. As someone stated above it is always worth doing RMT on ERT particularly in the summer months given...- Enk27

New Shrek and friends Merlin Attraction for County Hall London
Re: New 'unknown' Merlin Attraction for County Hall London My bad, maybe they should change it to a Charlie and the chocolate factory themed attraction. They have a good track record with that particular IP don't they?? What worries me is that the reports seems to suggest they are planning to...- Enk27

New Shrek and friends Merlin Attraction for County Hall London
Re: New 'unknown' Merlin Attraction for County Hall London The musical is still doing ok although there is no way of knowing how well it'll be doing come 2015. This does smack of someone from Merlin visiting the west end seeing the Shrek musical and then remembering they had a relationship...- Enk27
