PortAventura: General Discussion
Twisted colossus says hello! Although apparently magic mountain don't operate it properly a lot of the time. Anyway I think it's more likely that if they were to RMC it they'd make it single track, which seems to be what happens when RMC convert dueling woodies. That's what happened with Gwazi- JAperson

365 Day Opening
So no families went to the Christmas event? Also can families also not come under the category of Hotrl Guests. It all depends what the park offer to entice people in.- JAperson

Walt Disney World: Non-Theme Park Discussion
Are Disney particularly interested in value for customers though? I think they know a certain number will pay the price whether it's good value of not and that makes it worth it for them. Perhaps I'm being cynical but I just don't really think they're bothered if it makes sense as a deal but...- JAperson

They shouldn't need ETIAS to know how long you've stayed without looking at stamps. The technology exits already in our passports to know how long we've stayed. They know how many UK tourists visit the EU, so realistically they should have already updated there computer system to be able to do...- JAperson

I mean short in terms of height not length. I do agree with most of what you've said. I think we could see something with a decent length, especially if it's launched.- JAperson

Universal Orlando (Studios/IOA) : General Discussion
I have to agree, not a great look, but the ride will probably be pretty good. Out of interest, what's universals current slated opening for Epic Universe?- JAperson

Drayton Manor Park
Yes I know there are permitted development rights, but would've been interesting had they had to put in an application even for just a part of the layout. It seems it will be relatively short, likely to avoid the need for permission, so I'm guessing a launch coaster of some form is likely. As...- JAperson

Nigloland: General Discussion
Good news, and seems like it's a good fit for the park as there first inverting coaster. I can see why they'd continue there relationship with Mack for this project, there bound to get a reliable ride that isn't going to cause them too many headaches, seems the logical choice.- JAperson

So I'm guessing this new coaster isn't going to require planning permission? Because surely if it was needed they'd have done it by now, if not they're certainly cutting it close.- JAperson

Has anybody got any idea how many staff members they're cut with the reopening? We were all under the impression they'd want to cut staff, and I'm interested to see how they've done that now.- JAperson

Drayton Manor Park
I'm well aware your joking but being serious if @John is right with the symbol for gold being the clue, it could see them doing a bit of a World of Fun and having a new coaster pay homage to an original coaster. I think this is unlikely though. As for what I think the clue is, honestly I have...- JAperson

Right but when EU funding was propping up lots of our industries and certain area's (like Cornwall), it doesn't help that we've lost the last protection of these, and surely that can't help?- JAperson

Exactly, the UK supermarket industry is incredibly competitive, there's so many different retailers and different loyalty schemes. Would be relevant if all economic models who that brexit was and is not going well for the UK economy. I agree that the war in Ukraine and the pandemic have had...- JAperson
