Re: Thorpe Park Dark rides aren't really in Thorpe's remit though, they're all about the thrills. Unless they aim for the same sort of thing as Sub Terra, trying for all out scares, then I can't see it being that popular, and realistically if they're going to pour a few million into a new scare...

How exciting. The phrase 'world beating' is certainly an interesting one, it would seem odd of them to avoid using their favourite buzz words like 'worlds first' or 'record breaking' unless they don't apply.

Howdy! Great interview, really enjoyed it. I didn't know NPH was big on theme parks, etc. so learning that has further cemented him onto my 'most awesome people' list.

I'd like to see if anyone can confirm where exactly this hole is in relation to the plans. If it's directly under the station then I think it might be reasonable to assume that something will be going in that hole more than we have previously anticipated, there is enough room for a SAW style...

Personally, I hope it's not some kind of flipping track. I wouldn't find it thrilling (not saying no-one will, just I wouldn't personally). I'd much rather a SAW style steep drop in the building along with a roll or something.

I'm still holding judgement until we know the theme. I disagree that it's lazy, lazy would be building it out of plain concrete and leaving it for years. Making it look worn and old will mean whatever the theme is requires the building to look old and worn, otherwise why bother?
