Secret Weapon 7 Discussion
Will they want to keep the ride a secret particularly? In the past it's only been the rides unique point that has been kept a secret, and in this case that's still the situation. We know the layout from the plans, so even when we see it constructed there won't be any major surprises unless...- Alexsutton

Rita launch cable snap!?!
Photo from Alton Towers Guide on Facebook: Looking at the fencing in the background towards Thirteen, it looks like the route goes through that tunnel and into what used to be the Rita fastrack queue entrance and then into the usual pathway.- Alexsutton

Scarefest 2012
In terms of the actual ride experience there's not much they can do to 'liven' it up, it would have to be either an extended ending section or just more actors in the general area.- Alexsutton

I would imagine it's the area of the flume that's closest to Gloomy wood that is the problem, the Skyride is probably far enough away from the affected area. I'm not saying that's definitely the case, I'm saying that the Flume being closed doesn't necessarily mean the Skyride will be.- Alexsutton

Route from Katanga Canyon to Forbidden Valley closed
The closure of Sub Terra says to me that it's not anything like a tree falling over, this has to be something affecting a large area as N:ST can easily be accessed from the Forbidden Valley side if there was a tree fallen somewhere. A gas leak or even a bomb scare seems the most likely...- Alexsutton

The closure of the Monorail does suggest it's something moderately serious, if guests can't even me moved past the area in that proximity.- Alexsutton

The London 2012 Olympics - The Events
Absolutely fantastic stuff from the gymnastics team, really was world class stuff. I do feel sorry for the Ukraine team, thinking they had won bronze before the Japan appeal was confirmed. There were some spectacular dives earlier from GB in the Mens 10m Sync, just a few unfortunate rounds put...- Alexsutton

Fantastic show so far, really spectacular. You could run some kind of 'elements copied from previous Danny Boyle films' bingo though.- Alexsutton

Rita launch cable snap!?!
There's nothing on the gondolas to absorb any impact, it would take a lot of metalwork to make that an effective option, and that is assuming that the gondola fell without rotating at all. I'd much rather them put the effort into making sure the gondolas don't fall, rather than a shock absorber...- Alexsutton

Rita launch cable snap!?!
That's the only system I could imagine that would be remotely effective. It still probably wouldn't be great for any gondolas on the section that breaks, but it would provide the most coverage.- Alexsutton

The London 2012 Olympics - The Politics Discussion
Re: The London 2012 Olympics Discussion I think that is the main problem with the Olympic games, there are two clear sides to it, the competition itself and the politics of it all. Whilst I agree that the political side has a lot of issues, I can't see many ways in which people can be negative...- Alexsutton

Florida/Orlando: General
Howdy all, I'm off to Orlando in August and I'm very much looking forward to it, I'm also doing my best to avoid any dark ride spoilers that I don't already know. I was wondering if anyone would be able to offer me any advice regarding Mission Space at Epcot. Without giving away too much of what...- Alexsutton
