Wood Coaster Poll 2017
Hi Jim, thanks for the post and thanks for running the poll, I really quite miss the Mitch Hawker one! The prospect of doing a steel one does scare me slightly these days, but I'd certainly give it a go if you did manage to get one up and running. Interesting about The Voyage too. Myself, John...- Mattmash

Wood Coaster Poll 2017
Wow, genuinely surprised that Wildfire got No.1! Whilst it was without doubt a very good coaster, it seemed to really die at the end, I thought it was almost going to stop at one point! Also feel Tayto's is massively overated, again I thought it was pretty good, but nothing too special. That's...- Mattmash

Should be there. Will probably arrive a bit earlier and get a few rides in seeing as it will be my only visit of the season lol.- Mattmash

Nagashima Spa Land: General Discussion
I'm 1.92 myself and rode Steel Dragon 2000 a couple of times recently without any issue, and I don't remember seeing any restrictions advertised.- Mattmash

Merlin Parks & Attractions: Quick Questions.
Not used Legoland's QBots, but I assume they work in the same way as others. If so, yep it will be held, and just keep moving back with the time until you use it or cancel it.- Mattmash

Your Top Ten Coasters
Been nearly 4 years since I updated this, so it has changed quite a bit - top 3 aside. It's really hard to break it down to 10 and if I tried to do it again I'd probably come up with a different order, and there were some I really wanted to include but just couldn't fit in. I'm gonna go with...- Mattmash

Park Tickets
There is a great Alpine Coaster at Hassenhorn, Todtnau up in the black forest mountains, about an hour and 15 mins drive from EP! Well worth a visit and the surrounding area is just beautiful if you fancied exploring a bit.- Mattmash

TS York Bank Holiday Weekend: 29th April - 1st May 2017
Should have posted in here instead of the generic meet topic... Will hopefully be able to make this, except perhaps LWV on the Mon. Will try and get the Sunday off work (and possibly the Monday, holiday allowance dependant) :)- Mattmash

TS Official Meet Calendar 2017
Hmm, if I can get the Sunday off work, I could possibly do the York weekender, but going home the Monday morning instead of LWV, as have work that day. Not sure on any meets past that yet, as don't have my work rota past end of Apr.- Mattmash

Ideas?
For a trip that length, the ones that immediately popped into my mind were; Liseberg - Smack in the middle of Gothenburg, so easy to get to and cheap flights. Efteling - Little trickier to get to from airport but easily doable. You could also maybe hire a car and drive an hour, to spend a day...- Mattmash

Europe road trip
Of those 3 I'd choose Walibi, if only for Psyke Underground and Pulsar. Plopsa - I'd probably wait for Heide to open, like you say!- Mattmash

Europe road trip
The first trip looks very feasible to be fair! Phanny and Efteling would be a stress to get done completely in a day, but certainly doable, depending on crowds. With Phanny there is always their fastpass option if needed, think it's €16 for 4 rides so quite reasonable. There would also be the...- Mattmash
