Phantasialand: General Discussion
Oi! :p I'm an Intamin fanboy, (5 of my top 10 are Intamin, including all of my top 3), and I really didn't find it all that! Don't get me wrong, it is a very good coaster but it just didn't have that 'wow' factor for me. I thought it had 3 or 4 great moments but I found it fairly dull for...- Mattmash

Universal Orlando (Studios/IOA) : General Discussion
Not a fan of Rip Ride Rockit either, in fact on our Florida trip last year it quickly garnered the nickname S**t Ride Shut it. And as Saz says, it is completely terrible when the audio isn't working properly, which probably happened on about 50% of the rides I had on it :(- Mattmash

I thought I'd read somewhere that they'd stopped the free entry to Phantasialand with an EP pass!- Mattmash

Emerald Park (Formerly Tayto Park), Dublin: General Discussion
It's good, whilst nothing spectacular. Lots of fun and the first drop is amazing! It was a lot longer than I was expecting too :)- Mattmash

Europa Park: Aug Trip Report
I'd say they do ride differently depending on manufacturer, but Troy is a GCI the same as Wodan, just a little bit older. I've been to Toverland a few times and have to admit Troy has been progressively worse each time. On my last visit in Summer 2014 it was really quite rattly, although sure I...- Mattmash

Your Top Worst Coasters
This took some real consideration and in the end I decided to go with coasters that were in someway 'offensive' to me, rather than coasters that I think are just boring / poorly designed. I came up with this list in the end, in no particular order; El Condor (Walibi Holland) - Was a toss up...- Mattmash

Phantasialand: General Discussion
The thing with Intamin is, if they do get it right, they get it really right! My personal top 5 are all Intamin, and I've ridden a fair few coasters. Admittedly they are just as likely to get it wrong, but this certainly has TONS of potential. My main worry is that it might end up somewhat...- Mattmash

Tivoli, Copenhagen
Not really much to add to Benzin's great answer, just to say, be sure to do Rusty Banana back row, it is insane! (But keep your elbows in at all times :S ) Vertigo is also amazing, I miss that ride so much! Bakken can go to hell!- Mattmash

Asian Adventure Part 1: SuốI Tiên & Đầm Sen
Really enjoying these trip reports, many thanks for sharing them with us. It's great to see some parks that I know absolutely nothing about, and I'm really quite surprised with the quality in places. Although just lol at the Wizarding World rip off!- Mattmash

East Coaster Trip
I think my total spends for the trip (the one Astro posted) was about £3200! This included £300+ on fastracks alone, which while not a complete must at someplaces, were an ABSOLUTE must for Cedar Point and Great Adventure.- Mattmash

Must be getting creds in Madrid
Me too :P (Well you two replied so I had to!) Great report, I remember it being red hot the day we were there and getting sunstroke :( But yeah, all in all didn't rate the park particuarly. I found Abismo, Tarantula and Tornado to be ok and the dodgy spider themed shooter was a nice surprise...- Mattmash

Archived Trip Planning, Questions and Advice!
We usually do the breakfast tour if we're staying on resort :) Never had any trouble using the vouchers from other hotels in any of the hotels except Santa Isabel. We got refused once but I've done it before and since that, I think it just depends how busy they are at the time. It's a good one...- Mattmash

Kolmården: General Discussion
Looks great! About time we had an RMC in Europe :) RCDB is listing the cost as 110m SEK, so just under £17m, but I guess the terrain and land work required will have contributed a fair bit towards that!- Mattmash
