Energylandia (Poland): General Discussion
They do have single rider lines but they are pointless. They are before the station and not run by a staff member filling empty seats but by a screen based system that lets so many through per time from each queue. So all singer riders just merge with the rest of the queue before entering the...- Connor98

Planet Coaster: What you've been up to?
Haven’t had time to screenshot on my PC. But here’s a few photos from the first park I’ve been working on in PC2. Work in progress on a Mediterranean area and Vikings area. Coming along nicely.- Connor98

2024: General Discussion
Unsure as if I was correct to make this thread just yet so feel free to change, but thought it right to post this in here as it’s relevant to next season! Alton towers have announced the first event of the full season. Alton after dark is back on more dates than last year. Hopefully will give...- Connor98

Thorpe Park: General Discussion
It’s been set back to starting price again now. So obviously someone having fun. Would have liked to see the park take them to court for the million and use it to finish Hyperia.- Connor98

Thorpe Park: General Discussion
Thorpe park’s auction has gone live today. And the demand for a loggers leap boat is slightly higher than expected… 😂- Connor98

Energylandia Travel Tips
They run a bus to and from the park (you book it via the park website), it drops at the main bus station in krakow. I find the easiest way is to take a train from zator into krakow and then on to the airport.- Connor98

The Chef Thread
Latest creation for work, Festive Yorkshire pudding toastie! Mashed potato, Brie, cranberry sauce, cauli cheese purée, Turkey and made some sage and onion sausage meat stuffing and pigs in blankets too. Put it all inside two flat Yorkshire puddings and toasted. A bit of lovely meaty gravy to dip...- Connor98

Hex [2024 Refurb]: General Discussion
Had my first ride last week! I really enjoyed it maybe because of the hiatus, but to me the new lighting in the pre shows was good and people with me seemed to agree. The vault was a mix of emotions, very bright and very in your face. The branch itself was poorly executed in my opinion and the...- Connor98

Galactica's Future
I understand your point, but that would mean that most people call nemesis the leg dangling thing, or smiler the loopy ride. Air had a lot of nostalgia for many people, it was my first inverting ride for example. My point is more the fact that the name galactica doesn’t really seem to hold the...- Connor98

Galactica's Future
Look to me they may expand on the story of Galactica and tie it into the whole phalanx theme, but I can’t see a re theme or new name coming. Fireworks seemed to indicate some sort of galactic travel element. I think it would be even more confusing if they decided to change it again, most guests...- Connor98

Wicker Man - General Discussion
I’ve never found it to have that much airtime like some are saying. It has its moments when it’s warmed up. First drop towards the back of the train is fun and the tunnel that follows gives a pop of floater to those seated in the front, you could argue the only other moments of negative g after...- Connor98

Ride Availability/Operations 2022-25
They’ll know their rides as well as they can, but from the outside looking in it simply seems to be staffing issues. Seems they are fighting a losing battle, have too many fires to put out with not enough water. The park has always been in a remote location so as much as a challenge that might...- Connor98

Ride Availability/Operations 2022-25
The park allows guests to enter the park around 9am in my experience. But rides will not open until the stated times. So if you are an early riser you can grab a coffee or some breakfast and head to the first ride in time for queues opening.- Connor98

Energylandia (Poland): General Discussion
From my frequent visits to Poland not just in the tourist areas, most people know of and rave about the park. But luxuries are very different. They absolutely love a water park or spa. Most towns and cities I’ve visited in the country have an abundance of hot water spas / Aqua parks, so it makes...- Connor98

Ride Availability/Operations 2022-25
First year I don’t think I’ll bother with scarefest since 2012. I don’t even have confidence they will have the staggered rides open in time. One new maze, and the ones already in place are pretty lacklustre or repetitive. They have some major problems behind the scenes. I understand the park is...- Connor98

Galactica is one of the parks only true “night” rides. The second half is complete darkness, as with Th13teen. So it’s a go to for me- Connor98

[2025] Toxicator: New Forbidden Valley Suspended Top Spin
Curious to see if this features the water effects. It was an amazing features for those not riding to watch on, a real innovation from Wardley. But with this being elevated I think it would lose that effect.- Connor98

Thorpe Park: General Discussion
A little off topic but I recall a conversation quoted by John Wardley regarding Walter Bolliger saying B&M coasters don’t stall during the initial testing of Nemesis, does anyone know of a B&M coaster ever stalling? As far as Hyperia goes, this is a hindernace for Thorpe park at the very...- Connor98

Oblivion: General Discussion
Despite going for something modern to suit the millennium they ended up with the most 90’s theme ever. I love it and the soundtrack too. Clean it up, give it the love it deserves but please don’t change the music, it’s arguably more iconic than the original Nemesis score. Restore it to its...- Connor98
