2017/18: SW8 Speculation
Call me a pessimist, I want it but I feel of recent events that its unlikely Merlin will make a big investment in the Towers in 2017, the 10 Year Plan doesn't have to be kept to. It didn't predict the effects of the recession and certainly not the crash. If Alton are going to launch a new...- Stelios

The Future- 5 year plan
A mixture of dreams and more likely themes: 2016 - Air Retheme and restauraunt rejuvenates area, some vending machines moved from there with this increased eatery to other areas of the park where they are more "needed" like outside CATCF (to at least give the area a bit more purpose). Nothing...- Stelios

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
You'd think nowadays with the rise of VR cameras that they could film Alton Towers breaking out in the lift scene, though Alton would want a perfect day of business and sun and to touch it up with "fantabulous imagery" anyway. I would love a second attempt at this ride to be honest to make it...- Stelios

THE Sonic Spinball
So, fess up TowersStreet. You call yourself an enthusiast? Have you been on the real Sonic Spinball? Released in 1993, avaliable on the SEGA Mega Drive, Master System, Game Gear and Nintendo Wii. I actually ended up playing the game recently on the PS3's "Sega Mega Drive Collection". Didn't...- Stelios

CBBC Land
I've tossed the idea around of late, I feel though unlike Cbeebies with Night Garden, Postman Pat, Justin etc, CBBC don't have shows with that much broad appeal, I certainly couldn't name any CBBC made shows that would make a good ride for said area. Only the outsourced shows from different...- Stelios

2016: Air - Re-theme to VR Coaster - Galactica
Well it could just be Scarefest/Fireworksy for all we know, or could even just be lights that change to any colour. Were they in the usual position or the blue lights, or an addition to it? Either way, spooky times. I'm nervy on how Sci-Fi this new Air theme could go. I would've thought this...- Stelios

The Zlatan Arsenal rumours have been going on all summer, when a rumour like that happens with no subsequent rumour of a bid, I tend not to buy it. Oh look there's a crappy pun. Hooray. My dear Bolton are currently in turmoil awaiting a take-over bidder leaving us with a transfer budget of 0...- Stelios

Cornwall's Crealy Great Adventure Park
If its not trying to rival The Towers I'm sure it will take advantage of the Cornish scenery and as well keep the animals mentioned in there which The Towers do not have. Exciting stuff, just the accessibility for the area is really awkward for it to become 'a premier european attraction' just...- Stelios

2015: General Discussion
Can I just say noticing on my visit yesterday adding Oasis to the Pizza Pasta Buffet and some refill stations is the best move in years. :P Always wanted a refill drink that wasn't fizzy, and summer fruits is best flavour. Made up for the lack of the delicious potato salad in pizza pasta as per...- Stelios

How Busy?
Was there yesterday, slightly busier than my July visit, more secondary spend thanks to the weather, queues didn't top 10 minutes on TH13TEEN and the Cbeebies Land rides and even then they were inaccurate. Still more time navigating the queuelines than actually queueing.- Stelios

Quick Questions
I'm sure it used to recommend 14 plus a while back, which is why I was scared to go on then at ages 12, 13 and even 14. :P Though, they won't ask for ID I've seen people in the tweens and early teens looking terrified afterwards but were allowed through, its only a recommendation, prices are...- Stelios

Humanized Alton Towers
Ah if only Oblivia was a name... yeah its almost Courtyard Taverny' but just SFW. So it was Thia Collins who was making the "peeing" noises in the TH13TEEN queue all along eh?- Stelios

Scarefest 2015
Bus could easily be repurposed as a sort of representation ofthe Nemesis vehicle, don't really see it as a thing owned by the Phalanx though. But I'm sure some of the zombie tours around the UK would take it if its not just being left around in or for storage.- Stelios

TST fantasy football league 2015/2016
That's alright I'm here this year. Rise forth, the Alton Wanderers. A squad composed of Ex-Bolton Wanderers players and Bolton Wanderers players from my fantasy Football Manager save files... and Aguero, Hazard and Courtois with the spare budget/lack of players. You sure get a lot of our...- Stelios

How Might The Towers earn the Publics Trust back?
The summer holidays are way in their stride and with the warmish temperatures right now and the biggest weekend for families going on holiday was weeks ago now, this time of year should usually be one of the busiest for Alton Towers. But as many of us know first hand from visiting this summer...- Stelios
