Wildest memories from the COVID-19 pandemic period?
They made Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy to Coldplay 🫠 Remember like 100 people stood in the spot the year before there had been thousands, all with football scarves wrapped around our mouths and noses 😂- Martin

This time 12 months ago I'd never heard of the new manager, I thought the nerds had over thought it, hired someone who looks good on a spreadsheet but wouldn't hack the higher standards and pressure at this level in real life. What a fool I am- Martin

Best coaster per unit length; what coaster utilises its length most effectively?
The answer is surely Nemesis, with a big shout out to Lech. Probably would be Wild Mouse if it was still around though- Martin

Obviously with spinning coasters there's the one big variable on top of all the others but yeah, it just trundled along until the brakes at the end caught me off guard, but the way it rides was unlike anything I've ever been on before, and maybe ever will again, very odd.- Martin

I never mentioned it (a hasty edit may be in order) but this trip was during Energylandia's Halloween event. Unlike what we're used to here all the mazes are free. Most of them were situated within a dedicated 'scare zone' in the main thoroughfare of the Zadra area (you can go around the back...- Martin

Intro Last October I had a weekend at the Merlin south parks, and although I had a great time, I also spent a lot of it in pain, somehow finding almost everything uncomfortable and leaving me half wondering if now I'm the other side of 30 this hobby isn't for me any more. Fortunately for my...- Martin

Should front row seats be a premium add on
Maybe they can do the Ryanair option of saving money and getting a random seat and being split up for no reason, but if you ask nice they'll let you rearrange yourselves once you're through to the seats- Martin

Watched anything good lately?
The reaction to Adolescence now unfortunately has gotten very weird. Showing it in schools? Why? Kids know about this stuff, they're the ones living in it. There's literally a scene where a kid explains to the police officer what everything the kids are talking about online means. The show...- Martin

Yeah not a fan of Victoria Warehouse at all, haven't been back since RTJ toured 3 pre covid. Just got tickets for Clipping. at Project House in Leeds in September. That's a great venue. They only played there last April, their only UK gig, so they must have liked it too.- Martin

Saw Geordie Greep again last night at New Century Hall in Manchester. Somehow never been the venue before but it's absolutely stunning. Great gig too, played for over two hours non stop with lots of extended improv jam sessions between songs. He also ate a paper airplane that landed on stage...- Martin
