[202x] Therme Manchester | [202X] Modern Surf?
Shame. Seems to be an issue with Peel as many of their projects on the Wirral are in a similar trajectory. They could afford to do it themselves but got to keep the profit line going up- Martin

Good to see this finally starting. Any news on the adjacent site? Saw an article from last December saying it was moving again but not heard since- Martin

London Entertainment Resort: All Discussion
Considering the poor good quality, architecture, layout and general state of what passes for most newbuild housing these days with what's currently allowed, I struggle to believe there really is too much red tape and regulations. I've a mate who used to work in planning and they were really...- Martin

Smartphone or tablet; which mobile device type do you prefer?
> always draining my phone battery endlessly scrolling at home > get a mid range Samsung tablet for this exact purpose > never use it, upgrade to a top of the range Samsung tablet, maybe this will encourage me to use it > Never use that either, get an even more capable iPad, maybe I'll use...- Martin

Probably a good time to mention I also noticed a few holes in the fences, at least one that had been patched up with a plate of metal (in Hyperia brown of course)- Martin

The fences are really flimsy. At least once last week I heard the ops came on the pa to ask people not to lean on them- Martin

They couldn't use the word 'cut' now considering it refers to what they do to their opening hours, ride line up and budgets- Martin

Merlin - destined for mediocrity?
All started going downhill for Thorpe once it stopped being themed around the fact it's an island. Saw, Swarm, especially Hyperia, all just gave up on that, even Stealth and the "hotel" made an attempt. Double down on that again and give the place an identity- Martin

Just to keep us back talking about the Hyperia that exists and not the imagainary one with LIMs, here's my review. Over the weekend I got three rides, one at night (albeit middle row), one back and one front. And I still don't know what to make of the world's first rollercoaster where its...- Martin

If they are to get it back on though I imagine they'll be wanting to do a LOT of testing with it before guests are allowed back on, so might be easier to do that while closed, especially as if it valleyed again immediately, you can imagine...- Martin

Still on one this morning but with it holding steady at around 70 minutes they're probably in no big rush, they probably should try before this weekend if it's at all possible- Martin

I hope nobody from Merlin is reading this but I would even pay extra for something that lets actors who normally can't touch you do so, in the mazes and around the park- Martin

Stitches is fantastic. Dead Beat was a bit of a disappointment. Trailers was ok. Can't really comment on Survival Games because I managed to go the wrong way and come out behind the actors doing the finale and by the time they'd got me back where I was supposed to be I'd no idea what was going...- Martin

Built different 😉 Was just on a strict get the coasters done mission. Started early, moved strategically, wasn't as intense as it sounds tbh, worst was just finding a parking space at Chessie- Martin
