Is Alton Towers a world class theme park?
But apart from Nemesis and Oblivion, what at Towers is a true WORLD CLASS ride? And what, if anything, at Thorpe is a WORLD CLASS ride? Not a good ride, one of the best in the world. The staff at Thorpe can't even batch their trains efficiently! Look at how often Thorpe oversell tickets to...- Tarin Maria

Is Alton Towers a world class theme park?
So, the top 50% are world class parks? Even though families have to take out a loan to get into a Merlin park? And don't even get me started on Chessie.- Tarin Maria

Is Alton Towers a world class theme park?
Woah. Sorry, but no. When was the last time someone went to Thorpe an actually enjoyed themselves? A Park does not become outstanding simply because of the rides it possesses. And Thorpe's line up is actually pretty poor.- Tarin Maria

Is Alton Towers a world class theme park?
Maybe I don't get it the same way that some of you guys do, because AT isn't my childhood, but it isn't world class anymore. Once upon a time, I don't doubt it was, but now it is not. At the end of the day, it has two world class rides and one beautiful bit of architecture, and if you were to...- Tarin Maria

Scarefest 2015
There are a few things I'd like to see happen next year for Scarefest, a re haul of TotT , probably a new story and a new route, and the scrapping of Sanctuary for one. Sanctuary is outdated, and either the story needs to change dramatically, or a new maze has to be put in completely. I also...- Tarin Maria

Its less to do with charging something, and more to do with charging an outrageous amount. I know a family, who have seven kids, five all very similar ages (granted they're now grown up), including triplets. Can you imagine the prices for a family that big?- Tarin Maria

Seriously, how difficult is it to impress a five year old? A sticker for each thing found. 50p? Kid is impressed, could have charged only £1.50 and still made a profit!- Tarin Maria

Scarefest 2014
How many families do you think will pay for the trail, and still pay for food, and merch and the mazes? They'll end up losing money because people will not buy or pay for other things. And no one will think any higher of the park or company because they can't offer ANY value for money!- Tarin Maria

Scarefest 2014
But that's my point! £7 is a lot of money to add to what you'll already be spending to get into the park. Especially per child. You could save yourself a ton of money and do it yourself and literally buy a few toys from a pound shop as prizes! Why would you need to spend all that money... Merlin...- Tarin Maria

Scarefest 2014
Okay, allow me to disagree. In the same way that Europa charge more for their separate evening event, so do Disney. Prices to get into Disney, and especially Disney World, are simply extortionate. However, what you get with that extra $62* is far more quality, and as you have just said, a whole...- Tarin Maria
