Kynren and The Storied Lands due in 2026
That's amazing news. As someone who has always loved the Flambards exhibitions, I'm really glad the Victoria Village has been salvaged. It's a wonderful collection, so seeing it used at a different UK attraction will be nice.- James

[2025] Toxicator: New Forbidden Valley Suspended Top Spin
I wonder how they will manage queues and crowds, given that the entrance is right next to the tunnel and shop. On opening day and busy days, the queues will no doubt be spilling out of the entrance. It all looks OK. I'm personally not a fan of the dirty concrete theme. It's themed well (just...- James

[2025] Toxicator: New Forbidden Valley Suspended Top Spin
Looking on the app, every ride says closed except Toxicator, which has a opening time of 2pm to 9pm listed. There is obviously a staff preview or other sort of event going on tonight. The app shows opening times on the day. We won't know actual operating times for Toxicator until Saturday.- James

Universal GB - Archived Pre Announcement Discussion
As this project ramps up, the general public will become increasingly interested, and many will likely try to visit the site. I agree with Goose that this fencing appears to be more of a security measure to prevent people from entering the land. It seems that the public footpath is still open...- James

Oakwood Discussion
My point in comparison was more in light of where Oakwood and Folly Farm are positioned in a tourist hotspot. If you're a family on holiday in the area, Folly Farm is (was) better value for money than Oakwood. My partner and I had a holiday in Tenby two years ago, and as two adults, we decided...- James

Eurovision 2025
I've seen people campaigning online for the UK entry song to be revoked for the word 'hell' (in reaction to the kant drama). But hey, what's Eurovision without a bit of drama and controversy!- James

Oakwood Discussion
Value for money is a big issue too. Ticket prices for Oakwood in 2024 were £36 online (£46 on the day) compared to Folly Farm at £26 (£28 on the day). You're paying at least £10 more for Oakwood, for abandoned areas, decaying rides, SBNO attractions/food outlets. Folly Farm is clean...- James

2025: General Discussion
The only option they will have had for Dungeons this year is to reopen it as that, and given it appeared to have very low numbers of guests toward its end, it's a waste of money to run and operate. Another option could have been a retheme, but that would have cost millions, and Toxicator is the...- James

Oakwood Discussion
Megaphobia is a huge loss. Got the laugh at the press release from Apsro, almost comes across as delusional. 'We have invested millions' 'Oh it is the government's fault' Oakwood has been on a downward spiral for too long. As someone who has lived in Wales their whole life, and Oakwood was a...- James

Hex is poor given how little it has been open. Even with Skyride closed at the start of the season, it is poor given the length of closure required to undertake these works. Would not be a great way to kick off the new season.- James

Russia vs NATO
Here's the full exchange. It's not the most pleasant watch. I feel Zelensky dealt with it very well. He does not want to sign his country away and he's right to take a stand on that. Trump and JD Vance come across as two kids in the school playground. It will be interesting to see how...- James

Oakwood Discussion
Funnily enough, they announced their 2024 opening a year ago today (28th February), so I wouldn't say it's odd to have heard nothing yet. They usually open in April, so I would expect an announcement within the next few weeks if they intend to reopen. Removing two rides suggests they will open...- James

2025: General Discussion
People still make videos (and plenty were made last year) of the VIP experiences, so Towers are still getting free advertising. Why waste money on mounts and additional equipment when you can get a few cheap phone lanyard holders on Amazon for the same result? Besides, watching a video of...- James

Big Persons Seats.
Nemesis and Oblivion have bigger seats with double seatbelts, you can ask the ride host for these. The Smiler is probably the most accommodating ride on park so that should be fine. Wicker Man, Th13teen and Galactica can all be restrictive so might be a struggle. Wicker Man and Th13teen...- James

Universal GB - Archived Pre Announcement Discussion
I think Universal will consider HP. It wouldn't surprise me if we saw it as part of 'phase two'. I suppose Universal will find out whether they can gain the rights to use it or not. I don't buy the argument that it would damage the studio's tour. One would be a theme park, and the other is...- James
