    Nemesis Reborn: General Discussion

I have heard reports both saying the trains are new and the trains are refurbished. I would assume they are new, because the chassis, which has the seat hangs as part of it like a giant block of metal and the top part of the trains would have been 30 years old, it would have needed major work...

Whereas most of my non enthusiast friends and specifically ones scaree of coasters, associate OTSR as safer.

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2025 Discussion

Just looked at photos online of people's kebabs from this place. Looks good, proper filth! In a good way, of course.

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2025 Discussion

Where is the best kebab place around. I love a good kebab. The chippy down the bottom of the road the Velvet Coaster is on, was spectacular last year.

Does anyone here have a PS5 Slim? If so, what are the noise levels like?

    Legoland Windsor

If it was cooler day I would be too. I am the one, by law, who is legally responsible for the safety and wellbeing of my child, not the park. So if they took there time, in the cooler weather, I would do what I need to do, to keep my child safe.

    TS Drayton75 Meet: Saturday, 5th July 2025

If I can get this off work, I will attend as I am very local. I will hopefully have an update this week.

    Legoland Windsor

I mean if it was that much of an issue, could you not just get out the boat, you are in a very safe area there to do so. I do not condone breaking park rules at all. But if it was a cooler day, being stuck like that could have dangerous consequences in the form of hyperthermia, so getting out...

    Paultons Park: General Discussion

I think he said Gerst are still backed up with orders, just not as backed up. Which I think I could see when you look at what is currently being built world wide. As for the OTSR I get it, totally. There is no doubt however, that parents think differently over here in the UK than other parts of...

    Nintendo Switch 2

I get what you are saying but the question was brought up generally. I totally get the irony. But Nintendo are probably the worse offender for squeezing you dry, but in fairness to them, they do deliver. They are also pretty bad at video game preservation. So in some aspects of the points I...

    Paultons Park: General Discussion

The recent Off The Tracks podcast with Lawrence Mancey is on YouTube and is very good. A lot of the questions raised here over this new Eurofighter development are answered quite well in the video. OTSR are more appealing to younger kids and specficially their parents in allowing kids on this...

    Nintendo Switch 2

Fair point, look at it from a different angle then, for a long time now, the quality of gaming has dropped and dropped. Less risky games are being made (many of which turned out to be cult and all time classics) as developers stick time and time again to the tried, exhausted and tested methods...

    The Public Transport Thread

Oh yes, apologies they did, I had a blonde moment there. We can get a lock system built by voulenteers, not to dissimilar to the photo below. The perfect solution to tackle the hill next to the back of the park. It should only take a day or two to traverse. Lovely.

    Nintendo Switch 2

This is why I cannot bring myself to buy one due to the cash in decisions. Along side the fact the TOS make it clear you do not own the software, or the console itself. Well, as many in the industry are saying right now, if we do not own the stuff we are buying, then piracy is not stealing...

    The Smiler - General Discussion

Because the flume had been earmarked for removal for quite a while before it was demolished. Given the close proximity however, there is no reason a ride in the current SW8 site could not be incorporated into Katanga Canyon, with entrances and whatnot on the other side than where they are today.

    The Smiler - General Discussion

Did they once have a ride called air, from maybe 23 or so years ago? I have a feeling that one did it too.

    The Public Transport Thread

I feel the idea or even the notion of building the line as a heritage railway to serve a major theme park is just flawed from the start too. People will take the train for convenience, it wont be convenient if there are multiple connections due to swapping from Network Rail to heratige lines...
