Drayton Manor Park
I just realised that Looping Group have bought the company that operates Waterworld in Stoke on Trent. They kept that quiet. I can see this being incorporated into a season pass soon. Like with Drayton Manor, I can see the company structure changing. Which will not make Looping Group liable to...- DistortAMG

Great photos yeah, they have been online for a loooong time. Nice for people to see them who haven't seen them however, as they are great pics.- DistortAMG

[202X] Project Horizon (SW9?): Planning Approved
There were strong rumours suggesting this was cancelled. It is worth remembering that at this point, they are just that, rumours. The evidence in support of this actually happening, is in the form of the planning application, but the delay in any construction is slightly concerning.- DistortAMG

[202X] Project Horizon (SW9?): Planning Approved
Would a drop tower not be too tall for the area? Given it's location right at the park entrance and the parks tree height limit? I would struggle to see a drop tower with any meaningful height being allowed in almost any area of the park, let alone Adventure Land. This is without expensive...- DistortAMG

PC2 - Snail Trail - WIP
Looks awesome. This new on ride photo feature looks so good. I am missing the game somewhat at the moment. I have managed to look at some of the parks made on the workshop however. Even at this early stage, some of the parks look incredible. One of the greatest things about this game in my...- DistortAMG

This photo over the r̶u̶n̶d̶o̶w̶n̶ beautiful gardens show why they cannot operate on warm days, everyone appears to be struggling in the heat.- DistortAMG

Forgetting the vinyl for a moment, it comes to something when the AI drawn gondolas have better vents and air cooling than the real thing, don't you think?!- DistortAMG

Oh yeah there is absolutely no chance of it happening. It would however be nice. They should apply some heat reflecting tint though, relatively cheap, but also makes the gondolas more bearable on days when it is operating near the limit.- DistortAMG

Skyride General Discussion
With heatwaves becoming more common, it would be nice for them to fit aircon to the gondolas. I seem to remember @Islander talking about ultra capacitors a few years ago, which work in London on their cable cars. Although, I wonder how the Emirates cable car deals with issues, even with the...- DistortAMG

Planet Coaster: What you've been up to?
Looks awesome. Geforce now works really well actually. I am currently without a PC, so might buy something cheap to get my fix as a temporary fix.- DistortAMG

2023: The Curse at Alton Manor
Not quite. Long broken effects were fully or partially brought back under her leadership, such as waterfalls on both the rapids and Nemesis. The question now is will the push and drive to keep effects working, that has clearly been apparent in the last few years, be lost with a change at the...- DistortAMG

2023: The Curse at Alton Manor
Under her leadership there was a noticable change and effort into plussing and maintaining ride effects, all over the park. This was publicly acknowledged a few times too I am sure. Without a doubt part of her leadership was improving guest experience, with one of those things being in the...- DistortAMG

2023: The Curse at Alton Manor
The question is, how long will it take this ride to fall into a bad state once Bianca leaves. From what I could see, Bianca was very big on having effects and what not working. So without that push from the top, will things start to slip, as they have for a major part of the parks life.- DistortAMG

Ride/Park Accidents
That makes perfect sense then, I have almost no doubt that some people were slamming into that section that gave way. I did the same on the drop slide at Water World in Stoke and few months back, the drop and then the pull-out on that is much smaller and WAY less sharp.- DistortAMG

Ride/Park Accidents
This is conjecture too, but that down section looks almost vertical, what is the possibility that some people going down that section could be in a kind of freefall if they took whatever is above with some speed. I know I have been airborne a few times on slides,. This could result in people...- DistortAMG

But it is a job, they are paid and they are classed under law as employed. I am almost certain they also hold the same protections and rights under employment law as anyone else in the country. Ride Availability/Operations 2022-25
So it is the operator that sets the queue time then? I have always wondered about the exact process, to be fair. I suppose there is no one else who could do it, as the operator usually has visibility of the ride and queue. Then there is the fact that some parks, Disney especially, over- or...- DistortAMG

Ride/Park Accidents
RIP very tragic. I do not like to speculate on what happened, but a consensus online seems to be the girl was perhaps left unattended by her guardian. As a parent myself, I know that you only need to take your eye off a toddler for seconds until they are causing chaos. It sounds like a very...- DistortAMG
