[2026] Bluey Coaster in CBeebies Land
We might not be the target audience directly but lots of us have kids, will have kids, have friends and family who have kids. It's fine for us as people who know what else is out there in this corner of the market and want better than what this looks like it might be as well as consider the...- Martin

[2025] Toxicator: New Forbidden Valley Suspended Top Spin
I'm fairly agnostic on the Nemesis Extended Universe stuff with Phalanx but this is obviously a more developed theme than the original had (rusted old cutting contraption that also 'detoxed' you, for some reason) so is that not a good thing?- Martin

Would you ever visit a theme park alone?
If Towers' gardens and ruins weren't in the state they're in I'd go alone for a wander, but I don't think I'd enjoy any park on my own for the rides. Won't say I wouldn't do it if say, I was away somewhere for work or something and it was my only chance to go to a nearby park, but it isn't...- Martin

It's actually a sign of a real sports bar abroad if nobody there can work the tv to get it to show the match the customers all want to see.- Martin

European Coaster Poll 2024 (RESULTS)
I will post the table after round 3 at the Christmas break, but I'm still undecided about whether to keep posting it after that or keep it secret until the end of the group stage, or go for the dramatic option of revealing it for the final round. Happy to hear people's thoughts on that- Martin

European Coaster Poll 2024 (RESULTS)
There had to be some tough decisions made to get down to 32 entries, some personal favourites and cult classics had to go, but Khan has often done well in past runnings and it's hard to justify leaving out a massive B&M sit-down no matter how it has aged. Even with the plan to extend the entry...- Martin

European Coaster Poll 2024 (RESULTS)
It's back! It's been a few years but the (no longer particularly) traditional closed season European coaster poll is returning. And like another high profile pan-European competition, this year we've had a big revamp. Some rules are staying the same, so there's no entries from Alton Towers, and...- Martin

Live music, gigs, and concerts discussion.
Saw Geordie Greep at East Village Arts Club last month, and Magdalena Bay at Manchester Academy last week. Was never on the Black Midi train and had only really half-heard Greep's new prog rock / jazz fusion / latino / incel satire concept album but went along anyway, and glad I did. Virtuoso...- Martin

Football Discussion
Stuck around long enough to make sure Jenas couldn't get the gig 🫡 Fear that no matter who gets the MOTD spot, the subsequent reshuffling means it's inevitable that in one place or another across BBC Sport there's going to be an increased amount of Darren 'Fletch' Fletcher- Martin
