Given they don't even bother to regular collect glasses from tables at ATH I wouldn't have any faith in things like that getting enforced.

I think one other thing AT could do would be to make it explicitly clear what entertainment each hotel is offering and that Splash Landings Calypso Crew has more of a kids club where it is interactive and there to entertain children. Then make it clear the singers in ATH are just singers with...

Unfortunately a lot of parents don’t want to parent any more and any space will just fill with screaming brats anyway as the parents just yell “shut it, can’t you see I’m trying to drink” at their offspring, instead of actually trying to engage and entertain them.

At least with Splash Landings they built the bar a long way from the rooms. They designed entertainment to be part of the bar and seperate to the rooms, but didn't consider having a second quieter bar! Whereas the atrium at ATH has the expensive suite rooms right above it and has always suffered...

While this is broadly a good idea, I really don't see them spending the money to rip out the spa and turn it into an entertainment venue. Given the spa was a reuse of the swimming pool that was there before anyway. More chance of a slight refresh of the spa and it getting re-opened. I agree it...

Last few times I've been to ATH the Emperor function room had kids soft play equipment in the section nearest Dragon Bar. Don't think this was ever the case? Its always been just a simple wooden oriental lattice style wall between the Dragon Bar and the atrium so the noise freely travels...

    2025: General Discussion

Agree with both of these. The park is actually generally fine, we went for fireworks last year and even the food we had was all good. But overall there is also a lack of family rides and attractions. They need to get it more balanced and keep adding things for the whole family, shows, dark...

    Phantasialand: General Discussion

I went in 2019 so I think the shows have changed since then but the bike and skateboard stunt and breakdancing show was pretty good, didn’t regret seeing it. No idea if that is still on though! Also the Chinese circus was fine, enough for a break after eating.

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2025 Discussion

and as @RicketyCricket said "Not only did they fail to advertise it properly..." Icon could have done well for the park, but it doesn't have a striking visual appearance like the Big One or Wickerman and it was barely advertised. There was no hook and very little marketing at all.

    Legoland Windsor

Hopefully the Windor one ends up just as detailed too, things like the fire truck and siimilar are better on the New York one.

    Legoland Windsor

At a guess, maybe the LEGOLAND letters will get added above the white bar, so it will say Legoland Windsor Resort.

    Toyland Tours

Who says Charlie and the choc factory wasn't popular?

    Toyland Tours

Because they thought a Charlie & the Chocolate Factory ride would be more popular. But that only had a ten year license.

    2025: Toxicator - General Discussion

They were 8-10 years ago. Since they the park has generally either not had scare zones or made sure they are out of the way from normal pathways.

    2025: Toxicator - General Discussion

No the tunnel is needed to allow circulation and for people to get to Toxicator, Galactica and Rollercoaster restaurant. they generally only put scares where you don't need to cross that area to get to something else.

    Oakwood Discussion

Also need to make the right investments. Hydro was a bad idea really even before the accident. If they had kept with megaphobia being the big attraction and focused on small/medium more charming family stuff it might have worked. I agree overall the park isn't in a great location full of holiday...

    Oakwood Discussion

Its very much in the wishful thinking realm but the only way I see it surviving is if Bluestone next door take it on. Its plausible, but very unlikely. Personally I wish I wasn't so much of a wimp back on a scout camp in 1997 age 15/16 and wish I just rode Megaphobia back then.

    2025: General Discussion

But that would (likely) be a different job description for a different role, (likely) without as much focus on matrix management. You can't compare a massive corporate structure to a family owned one and most applicants for the role would know that. So hard to say its a poisoned chalice if you...

Used to do this far too often, but I've moved to squash not juice at breakfast so my routine is different.
