We are not so reliant on them. You do know you can see in real time, online, the power usage and generation of the the UK by different fuels. We are never getting more than a few percent of our total power needs by undersea cables.- DistortAMG

He was actually booked as a 90th birthday present for Micheal Eavis by Emily. In that sense it doesnt really matter how busy it was. As this could very potentially be Micheal Eavis' last ever Glastonbury.- DistortAMG

Aww bless, you are nieve. No, the prices are so high because it is an easy win for making easy money. We buy food in bulk, wholesale prices are dirt cheap.- DistortAMG

Nemesis Reborn: General Discussion
I have heard reports both saying the trains are new and the trains are refurbished. I would assume they are new, because the chassis, which has the seat hangs as part of it like a giant block of metal and the top part of the trains would have been 30 years old, it would have needed major work...- DistortAMG

Just looked at photos online of people's kebabs from this place. Looks good, proper filth! In a good way, of course.- DistortAMG

Where is the best kebab place around. I love a good kebab. The chippy down the bottom of the road the Velvet Coaster is on, was spectacular last year.- DistortAMG

If it was cooler day I would be too. I am the one, by law, who is legally responsible for the safety and wellbeing of my child, not the park. So if they took there time, in the cooler weather, I would do what I need to do, to keep my child safe.- DistortAMG

I mean if it was that much of an issue, could you not just get out the boat, you are in a very safe area there to do so. I do not condone breaking park rules at all. But if it was a cooler day, being stuck like that could have dangerous consequences in the form of hyperthermia, so getting out...- DistortAMG

Paultons Park: General Discussion
I think he said Gerst are still backed up with orders, just not as backed up. Which I think I could see when you look at what is currently being built world wide. As for the OTSR I get it, totally. There is no doubt however, that parents think differently over here in the UK than other parts of...- DistortAMG

Nintendo Switch 2
I get what you are saying but the question was brought up generally. I totally get the irony. But Nintendo are probably the worse offender for squeezing you dry, but in fairness to them, they do deliver. They are also pretty bad at video game preservation. So in some aspects of the points I...- DistortAMG

The recent Off The Tracks podcast with Lawrence Mancey is on YouTube and is very good. A lot of the questions raised here over this new Eurofighter development are answered quite well in the video. OTSR are more appealing to younger kids and specficially their parents in allowing kids on this...- DistortAMG

Nintendo Switch 2
Fair point, look at it from a different angle then, for a long time now, the quality of gaming has dropped and dropped. Less risky games are being made (many of which turned out to be cult and all time classics) as developers stick time and time again to the tried, exhausted and tested methods...- DistortAMG

The Public Transport Thread
Oh yes, apologies they did, I had a blonde moment there. We can get a lock system built by voulenteers, not to dissimilar to the photo below. The perfect solution to tackle the hill next to the back of the park. It should only take a day or two to traverse. Lovely.- DistortAMG
