Legoland Windsor
There are so many options for the space, but I imagine very little will be done until they're new duelling boomerang opens. I hope I'm wrong, but they will probably leave a large amount of the rapids in place until the funding is allocated and there ready to start building the replacement...- JAperson

Paultons Park: General Discussion
This is interesting, this business stragety is clearly working for them and putting guest satisfaction first seems a good thing. I will say however, that I think most people in the UK, expect to queue when they got to a theme park. They don't want ridiculous long queue's but they don't mind...- JAperson

What is keeping you on forums in the social media age?
I'd say for me it's more intelligent and lengthy discussions. Sure I often disagree with people on here and people often disagree with me but it isn't usually just insults thrown which tends to be the case in the usually shorter form content of social media. Twitter//x is famous for it's...- JAperson

"Which European country is best for roller coasters?": A statistical analysis of European countries' coaster selections
Can I have a TLDR @Matt N for those of us who scrapped a pass in maths and really doesn't have the brain space to try and understand that?- JAperson

[2024] Nemesis Reborn: Construction and Speculation
I imagine it's just cheaper and easier logistically for them to do the whole track with the veins, plus that extension queue is bound to be used when the ride reopens and they don't want it not to match when they're just done a big relaunch.- JAperson

Oblivion: General Discussion
It wouldn't need as extensive work as nemesis, it's only a small piece of track that gets much force applied, so I imagine it's an awkward job but something they'd probably do over a closed season. Probably just replacing one or two bits of track, or perhaps even the running rails.- JAperson

Thorpe Park: General Discussion
I imagine it's the pure cost of building something like this in the UK as opposed to other places. The other fact is Merlin tend to spend large amounts of there budgets on theming and marketing something they've probably had to move away from to spend money on very expensive hardware. Then again...- JAperson

Alton Towers Social Media
I mean to be fair they're not wrong, even if the skyride is down the step count when you go to Towers is huge, there's just simply so much space to walk around. I don't think this post is as bad as some of the others, though I do get some commenters points.- JAperson

1995 B&M Dive Coaster patent
I'm trying to work out what they've actually patented here? It obviously can't the the vertical drop because other companies have done it. It just appears to the exact layout.- JAperson

Forbidden Valley: Future Changes?
Well they could make Galactica look presentable, or is that impossible? There's no money to be gained in them converting in back to air, just extra expense so they won't.- JAperson

Forbidden Valley: Future Changes?
There's no money to be made in putting in back to Air, it wouldn't be very marketable and it wouldn't really achieve anything. So I think it's highly unlikely. Oh and that tunnel is never going to the themed.- JAperson

[2024] Voltron Nevera | Mack Stryker Coaster
No and I never said it was, what I was referencing was that they should've learnt there lesson to be very careful with sponsorships. I agree that it's mostly on brand, but really having it in the name is rather pointless. Nobody can possibly no that. It might be plastered all over the station...- JAperson

[2024] Voltron Nevera | Mack Stryker Coaster
Again another coaster with a ruined name, I feel like the worlds been on a role this week naming coasters badly. Voltron was fine, now EP have got another of there big money sponsors and it all changes. Didn't they learn there lesson with Blue Fire being sponsored by a dodgy Russian company?- JAperson

I think Spinball with eventually bee removed in some kind of agreement but it fills a gap Towers currently don't have and it's a fairly popular ride with visitors.- JAperson

[202X] Project Horizon (SW9?): Planning Approved
I think there is about a 50/50 chance whether this will be an IP or not. I think it's far from confirmed either way and I think there are strong arguments for both in a business sense. I think that's part of the reason this project is so interesting. In terms of construction I wouldn't have...- JAperson
