Hang on a minute Rob. I recall you saying before that Smiler is just a gimmick for the sake of it so you changed your mind when it comes to Hyperia then?
I’m not being funny but people ride roller coasters for the ride itself not the theming and backstory. They may add to the experience but they aren’t essential. Look at Vengeance it has very little theming but is still regarded by many as the best coaster ever built
Shocking designing realistically. So with trims off it run round empty but with people the trims need to be on so it doesn’t get to the crypt too quickly, however if there isn’t enough weight with trims it will stall? What a shocking piece of design how have towers put up with this from intamin
I mean who designs a ride that can either run empty or full that’s just stupid. Covid was proof that it is poorly designed because it’s a problem that no other ride on park had
If you’re an enthusiast then lapping a ride wouldn’t be an issue. I managed 3 in a row on Inferno no problem and that ride is more intense than most the towers coasters
I wasn’t referring to its height I was referring to the unique elements that we haven’t seen in this country before. Height doesn’t mean anything. Nemesis is in a pit below ground level most the time and it still absolutely obliterates any of the current 5 Thorpe coasters in terms of quality
If it’s not the best in the country when it opens then it’s a fail in my book. How can a ride with such weird and unique elements that look mesmerising offride not be as good onride
They do treat off peak guests like 2nd class I find that odd. If anything they should be trying their hardest on quiet days to please all the guests because the likelihood of guests visiting during peak times having a great day is low😭
