Could be 2 loading areas, so 2 trains in the station at once, similar to Oblivion. Would make more sense than having 48 people per train! :p

The plaza and entrance for the ride appears to be in the same place as where the Flume's was, and the limited marketing material we have seen so far has had the mutiny bay style, so I think we can assume it will be a pirate themed ride. While the layout itself may not be awe inspiring, I'm liking the inclusion of a preshow, the winding track in the indoor section at the start, and the numerous theming elements throughout the ride. Hopefully we get a really nicely themed pirate coaster with an original storyline!
 
I would take any marketing material in the early stages with a pinch of salt - there's plenty of time for things to change down the line in terms of theming. The Smiler underwent the same treatment.

I agree, anything Merlin put up at the first stage of construction for a new ride tends to not represent its final branding 'look' (smiler, derren brown etc.), but that said I think we can pretty safely assume that this will be themed to Mutiny Bay.
 
The document "Site Plan Setup and Demolitions Plan" has labels "Unload station" and "Load station" So it looks like there will be two loading areas.
 
I've just scanned through some of the sections. I'm hoping for a launch looking at how shallow the lift hill is.
I do hope this coaster is received well and is used as a bench mark for a bigger woodie in the future.

Worryingly they used the osark wildcat as a sound assessment, well that ride was silent for years and now is fire wood.
 
Looks very strange. Meandering up high for a bit after the lift then staying low for the rest of it, going to depend on how much speed it carries, hopefully it won't end up like Thirteen. Big building with a show section which is promising. NO CATTLEPEN QUEUE OR SHIPPING CONTAINER!
 
For anyone concerned about layouts: Wodan looked naff on an overhead plan, and look at how awesome that turned out.

I'm hoping that a mag launch would actually give it a decent speed to make it at least somewhat thrilling. It's not exactly going to be Rita though! I bet John Wardley be like: :eek::mad: All those years I wanted to do a woodie!!
 
The fact that its GCI has already got me excited. I also really like that they'll be properly taking their time with the construction - it seems like they really learned from the rush job they pulled with The Smiler.

Is it me or is the lift hill now at a uniform angle? Wonder if this sound tunnel will be covered or just the sides.
 
Has GCI done an inversion before? This does look like it could be one... (taken from TS front page)

That looks a lots like a barrel roll/ zero g roll with the slight bend in the track and the elevations. Knowing Merlin, its probably a gimmicky element but the plans looks solid.
