Folk at work have been asking "what's all this about a coaster Alton Towers burning down?" I explained the situation. Then I showed them some of the latest drone pictures.
Reactions ranged from a raised eyebrow and "...hmm...", right through to "Is that it?" and " Where's the rest of it?"

Meanwhile 13 got 3.05m guests into the park in 2010.

Sw8 looks better overhead than at least 3 other rides in the park.

I'm not sure you can really make a judgement on the speed from a one second clip!

But clearly a POV has been filmed, release the POV please!!

I must have watched a different video to everyone else, all I saw was some people's faces, a brief cgi depiction of fire, a fence, some ride supports and about a second of track "footage".

We all know what faces, cgi fire, fences, ride supports and the track look like already don't we?
