Didn't some people end up leaving the park at 11pm when The Smiler first opened? If the same happens with Wicker Man, it may not be such a bad idea to queue near ride close, to see the ride in the dark!

Once the hype dies down a bit it should be on ert.

If they confirmed Wicker Man to be on ERT, though, then it should really be on ERT from day 1. Especially as there's nothing else of much appeal to thrillseekers in the 2018 lineup.

I know it might sound like a random question, but does anyone know if Wicker Man will have a baggage hold? I'm going to presume it will as Thirteen and The Smiler both do, but I just wanted to be sure.

All the new Towers rides have baggage holds similar to The Smiler's. I'm guessing it'll probably be in the room just before the pre show so you can hand your bags in and then get them from the other side of it just before you enter the shop

Given the extra staffing requirement of baggage rooms and that being one of the many nails in N:ST's coffin I'd be very surprised if they add one to Wicker Man - surely It'll just have Wodan style lockers?

They should incorporate it into the preshow like Karnan - best baggage system ever!

If Wicker Man does have a baggage hold then I expect it will be removed within 2 seasons as per current staffing cuts. Although Towers/Merlin logic is to implement things on new rides that is being cut on other rides!

:)

Maybe if they have any sense they've designed it such that it can be used on peak days rather than just shuttering it forever after a couple of years, though I'm not confident.
